Alison explores the idea of grief, discardment and ostracisation, through exploring and invsestigating process led investigations. She often refers to this process as ‘drawing with her hands’.

My surroundings are a constant source of inspiration to me; the colours of the expansive skies, the flocks of corvidae wheeling around and the flowers in the hedgerows. I work mostly with textiles.

Report this?I am a neurodivergent artist making art about living with neurodiversity through ceramics, drawing, painting, printmaking, installation and sculpting. I was born with autism, am dyslexic, have a high IQ, went through an event aged 17 and then another linked event aged 18 that left me with PTSD and that caused developmental issues in my brain leading to the symptoms of ADHD now being prevalent.
