I'm a recently menopausal artist living and working in Cornwall. I use many different types of media in my art, from painting to sculpture to kinetic installation and live performance. My work is about the ridiculous expectations placed on women in our society, how our worth is measured and how we can unwittingly collude in all of it.

As an Australian American woman I live and work in Los Angeles. As a painter, new media & social practice artist I am always challenging myself by pushing media, content and context. I have shown in galleries and museums. Received several NEA grants and continue to take art into public spaces.

Installation and community artists working with found materials and all manner of beautiful things. I have a love for rusty stuff and see the artistic potential in almost anything from pigeons to kitchen utensils, derelict buildings to pristine walls. If I can make it into something that will bring happiness I will.

My sculpture series Magical Zoo is an examination of the impact of human activities on the environment and the world of animals. Born out of desire to help restore nature and to reduce my environmental footprint, the pieces are made of up-cycled materials such as packaging, the only other substance added being transparent varnish glue. Each animal is depicted showing its unique beauty and magic.

I am a visual artist based in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire. My practice combines naturally beautiful, fragile glass with concrete, wood and metal to create a range of sculptural and wall based work. Guy Masterman has been engaged with sport all his life, a former international racquetball player, professor and author, he has now turned to art. As an artist he uses the mediums of wire, wood and concrete and looks to capture form, movement and balance in sculpture that looks to cross the boundaries between art and physical activity with an eye to sometimes deceive and defy.

My work looks to dig into the relationship between human behaviour and art-making; why we create images and how we consume them. I’m looking to peel back the layers of illusion that encase this relationship to reveal certain mechanics that are unavoidable in our engagement with images.

I am an artist and material culture researcher who uses practice-based research to explored the relationships between bodily experience, memory and artefacts, both in museums and archives, and in everyday life. Using film, photography performance work and writing I address the ways that objects can become records of lived experience and how the traces of these experiences can be read.
