    I am a visual artist, born in Scotland and living in the Scottish Borders. My background in craft and fine art is wide and varied. I first trained in ceramics and then studied fine art sculpture and printmaking, at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in Dundee, from which I graduated BA Hons in 1992.     About me I am a Glasgow based artist working in a range of paint based mediums. My work is a representation of my interactions with, and reflections on, my immediate environment. Through my work I explore and share my reactions to the boundaries between the natural environment and human imposed structures. I work in mixed media creating collages created from the bi-products of everyday life.

    Im a graphic designer by trade, having spent many years working in print, advertising and display. I trained in Graphic Design at the Kacob Kramer School in the late 70s. I set up Jagger Studio to promote my Lino prints. I am based in Guiseley, Leeds and currently creating lino print images.

    I have been painting for approximately 12 years but have only recently taken steps towards building my artwork in to more than just a hobby. This increased focus has seen an evolution in my work, moving towards stronger, bolder and more colourful creations, which I feel reflects the newfound confidence I have in myself as an artist.

    An experimental printmaker using etching and other print making techniques. The work is concerned with the temporal transformation of discarded and forgotten objects into new printed images which emulate the landscape, becoming imaginary map like places. A new 2 or 3 dimensional narrative emerges as they form their new printed landscape
