    I am a mixed media artist based in Bedfordshire. My recent work has focused on abstract, geometric and surreal patterns and shapes, expressing underlying themes of mental health and disability. I graduated from the University of Bedfordshire with a BA (Hons) in Art and Design in 2010, after previously studying fashion and textiles and fine art.

Living in the coastal landscape, I am interested in critiquing contemporary coastal politics, and the ways in which coastal cultures are perceived by outsiders, and through this, extends into politics more widely.

Awarded Fellowship of the Royal Society of Arts in 2018, Sara now divides her time between private commissions and community projects.     I am a self taught artist with a long love of cartooning which is evident in my quirky design style and use of bright colours and bold lines. Australian born but now based in North Devon, the dramatic coastline is an important source of my inspiration.
