    Laura is a self taught artist creating nature themed pieces. She works mostly in watercolour, though occasionally uses mixed media to complete a piece (using gouache, coloured pencil or pastel pencils for final details). Laura also enjoys experimenting with other techniques and media, such as linocut printing, embroidery, and collage sculptures.

    Henny Burnett is a mixed media installation artist who lives and works in Bristol. She attended Byam Shaw School of Art in London, Fiberworks in Berkeley, California and Edinburgh College of Art. Central to Burnett’s practice is research and public engagement; she has worked on many projects that have involved museum collections, archives and histories.

    I completed an MA in Painting at Manchester School of Art. I have 65 years of life experience to draw from as source material for my painting practice. I recently created a series of abstract paintings inspired by my early career as an actor/musician. These paintings aim to challenge the viewer to create their own interpretation of what has bee or is about to happen on the empty stage.

    I am an artist with a Contemporary Crafts degree from Falmouth University. I'm interested in a wide range of artistic mediums and processes, both digital and traditional, but have spent the last year or so experimenting primarily with copper. Processes I've explored over the past year include etching, enamelling, patination and electroforming.

    Justine is a multidisiplinary artist with 25 years experience working in the arts, originally from Scotland now living in North Wales and Central Portugal. She set up her studio Pitch Black Paradise in 2017 situated in the grounds of Glynllifon Country Park.     My visual arts practice derives from a sense of place and community anchored in politics and experiences of a working-class background. Printing offers me the materiality and medium to experiment with images of strength and violence, representing tactile anger in keeping with present times. I make woodcuts, lino and wood engraving, as well as the traditional medium of etching and aquatint.
