    I have painted since I was ten years old, throughout my career in fashion design and later interior design. I use everyday scenes as well as those from travelling, and am inspired by nature and the seasons, with the variation in moods and colours they bring. I started painting in oils and in the last few years have developed a passion for soft pastels.

    I have been raising money for Cancer Research UK via Relay for Life since 2010 with our team #quiltofhopecornwall for my 60th birthday I was gifted a Polymer Clay course plus a fabulous kit. I am constantly build my skills, repertoire and kit to create hand crafted items for fundraising.

    Contemporary sculptor. Working in mixed media, including clay, plaster, metal, concrete and wood, and use a variety of making techniques, depending on what best suits my aim. Pieces range from small, delicate objects of a domestic scale to those that are far larger and robust for outside public/civic spaces. I live and work in Dorset.

    I am an artist based in Leeds. The concept of drawing is the subject of my work, focusing on the crucial role of materiality within an essential language of drawing. My current work uses graphite as both mark-making tool and as a material for the physical structure, allowing the qualities of the material to determine the form of the work.

I exhibit regularly in the UK, and am elected to the Royal British Society of Sculptors.     I am a multi-disciplinary artist. Within my work I am interested exploring the possibilities of the transformation of the everyday.  I work on commissioned pieces with performers and also collaborate with friends and family who appear as subjects within my photographic work.
