    I have been making work in ceramics for over 30 years. My most recent work explores my personal history as a gay man growing up in the 1970's and 80's and discovering queer artists and creatives that helped me to shape who I am. I am currently based in Liverpool where I also run a ceramics studio called Baltic Clay.

    Ije (eejay) A multi-disciplinary artist with a sensuous, nomadic arts practice fusing personal memory, embodied practice and material intervention.     Sarah McAlister has just finished studying MA Textiles at The University for the Creative Arts and focuses her practice on re-using found materials. Her work is made in response to places and events she has experienced. Her ethos as a textile artist is to recycle, re-use and re-purpose existing resources meaning that her pieces are made entirely from found objects and fabrics.

    Since completing my Photography MA (Falmouth) in autumn 2019, I have been working hard to establish myself as a visual artist in the digital field. Alongside this I have been a support to my elderly parents and cared for children of key workers in my family during the pandemic . I primarily create intricate, digitally painted composites, as a method of contemporary nostalgic storytelling.

    I am a mosaic artist living in Cumbria. I have being making mosaics for a few years and am a former illustrator and mural painter. I make wildlife portraits out of rocks and found materials. I forage slate, quartz, found ceramics, fossils from places I visit and choose subjects that interest or inspire me. My style is representational and I choose materials to give my mosaics texture and movement

    As an artist and crafts person most of my adult life in a variety of disciplines, in the past 20 years I have been concentrating on working in two different areas.. CERAMICS creating mosaic pictures using my hand painted ceramic tiles, which are fired before breaking to create the design. and POLYMER CLAY, producing jewellery and recently miniature land and seascapes.
