Report this?I am a full time artist mainly working in textiles. I have a degree in Fashion & Textiles from Leicester Polytechnic, but have been working in 'creative textiles' for over 15 years. I have experience of working in the community and in schools, creating large textile installations. I also exhibit my work in various exhibitions and Open Studios. I sell my smaller works at fairs and in galleries.

Achieved a BA in Fine Art at the HKB in Bern (CH) and an MA in Fine Art in 2014, at HEAD in Geneva (CH). In 2018, I achieved an MA in Performance Art at Leeds Beckett University, in the UK. I work as an artist individually and collaboratively on projects or in collectives.

Reclaimed materials often retain the traces or scars of their former use but can be given a new energy charge when redeemed. Jane studied embroidered textiles at Goldsmiths college followed by postgraduate study at Manchester Polytechnic. Having lectured for 30 years at Manchester School of Art , Jane changed career in 2020 to become a full time artist.
