    I’m a contemporary artist creating vibrant, textured landscapes inspired by peaceful woods and delicate light. With a First-Class BA Hons in Fine Art painting and printmaking, I now work from my studio in the Peak District. Inspired by nature, I build layers of acrylic or oil with intuitive, impressionist techniques to evoke calm, colour and a blend of abstraction and realism.

    Sarah completed a degree in textile design and worked as a colourist and print designer for several years before taking up her career in Education. Although not formally trained in the Fine Arts, she uses her knowledge of print and colour to create her own unique style. She travels with her sketchbook to remote places seeking areas of solace for inspiration.

    Drawing and writing. Sometimes curating things and publishing as well. I worked for a long while with mould making, casting, printmaking and illustration and these things crop up occasionally still but more as occasional mediums. I trained in traditional painting, drawing and life casting techniques, then studied Fine Art.

    I am a London-based artist working across analogue and digital processes to explore connections between labour, race and technology. My interest in animation techniques, theory and practice has influenced a current body of work that uses computer generated images (CGI) and film.     I have a passion for watercolour, pastel of wildlife botanical animal and more recently jewellery making . Over 10 years ago I was medically retired from the NHS with a Neurological condition so I picked up a pencil and started from there and have never stopped. I have done a few craft fairs in North Yorkshire where I'm from . I have now moved to Surrey are and I want to continue here with fairs.
