My daughter constantly inspires me to create, play and relish the joy, the curiosity, the happy accident and the mess. I grew up amongst the textile industry spending my childhood playing amongst the derelict mills. Drawn back to the rugged and remote beauty of the Pennines I began roaming the ancient footpaths, turnpike roads and bridleways to capture the drama of our landscape, its social and industrial heritage and the lives of the people who lived here.
