I work in installation, film, performance, music, physical computing, virtual and augmented reality, animation, and games. I am interested in the connections between spaces and texts, especially in interactive media, and the role of human creativity in an increasingly technologized world. My practice often draws on games and cinema as well as contemporary art.

BA (Hons) in Fine Art , Nottingham Trent University, and an M.A. in Fine Art from Leeds Metropolitan University. Image maker, musician, always concerned with what has been termed 'Spirit of Place'. The British landscape is a constant source of visual and aural inspiration, and I spend a lot of time out there in it...

I’ve been trying to get to the root of why I paint what I paint, after much ruminating I think I’ve realised the different avenues my mind travels down. I’ve become more interested recently in a still life aspect to my work, looking at old toys and discarded objects and it’s the stories about the past, that I can almost see- just out of reach and stories are the main diet of my imagination. The id

I am interested in exploring photography as ‘Inframedium’, playing with the boundaries of the photographic object, its material ‘nature’ and the visual possibilities that exist within it. Stripping away the ‘Apparatus’ of the camera and thus stepping out of the arena of the technical image, I am exploring a different set of gestures with which to reveal the material’s phenomenological potential.

I'm a sculptor, writer and art historian (leeds university (jt hons) art history / english literature). I seek to make art at its most potent through re-interpreting and juxtaposing my raw materials - driftwood and unloved / unwanted furniture, occasionally with a surreal yet tangible functional edge. The metaphor between my work and humanity and how we are shaped by our environment is stark.

I am a London-based artist working across analogue and digital processes to explore connections between labour, race and technology. My interest in animation techniques, theory and practice has influenced a current body of work that uses computer generated images (CGI) and film. I incorporate craft, gardening and walking as entanglements of history, place and identity.

I am a sculptor whose work investigates identity and the way we portray this in the world through the forms of our clothing and our architecture. Both are seen as metaphors for the body and for human experience. I have been investigating this relationship for 20 years. I work mainly for exhibition or in residency and have a studio in my local town of Stourbridge, in the West Midlands.

I was born in South Africa and moved to London in 1986. I started sculpting at the Hampstead Institute in early 2000 and started painting again in 2019. I paint predominantly in oil on canvas and like to produce colourful abstract compositions mostly generated from Photographs that I have taken or real life. I also generate digital images using procreate printing using Chromaluxe onto Aluminium.
