    Emily Joy (UK, 1982) is a socially and environmentally engaged artist making sculpture, installation, and performative work. Emily is also a ceramic sculpture tutor and facilitates public creative projects as half of creative partnership ‘Periscope’. Currently exploring Swiss glacial melt and associated ecological and social impacts, her practice centres around communication, empathy and ecology.

    I am a Redcar raised photographer who seeks meaning in the mundane. I prefer black and white photography , but not exclusively. I use any camera I have to hand working with Fuji X-H1, Pro 1, X-E1, Canon 200D, 5D mkiii, and film photography using the Canon AE-1, Prakitka and the medium format plastic fantastic Holga 120N. I tell stories through photography and hope you can find your story in them.

    Helen Emily Davy (b. 1996) is an artist from Manchester, UK. She is a graduate of the Fine Art - Painting and Printmaking BA(Hons) programme at the Glasgow School of Art, and the Art and Science MA programme at the Universität für angewandte Kunst, Vienna.

    Working across oils, water-based and mixed-media my work fluctuates between pure abstraction and a subtle refence to place or object. Paintings begin with intuitive marks and colour, and are developed over several months, if not years, with several paintings being worked on at a time. The final composition only comes to realisation in the later stages of the process.

    Mixed media artist working primarily in 3D exploring ideas around non-scientific means to influence the world and people. By using the language of fetish, charm, ceremony, etc., using found and sustainably created objects and combining them I find new meanings. My origins in Africa as an outsider and early life on dark remote farms underpins my work.

The charity Create Bolton supported me in rediscovering my love of ceramics and encouraging me to develop my own style of making.
