I am a full-time professional abstract expressionist photographer and mixed media artist interested in making gestural images which capture how the world feels to me. I exhibit widely in the UK and overseas and my first book, 'Abstract Mindedness', published by Kozu Books has now sold out. I also teach expressionistic photography techniques and creative thinking world-wide on tours and workshops.

As a printmaker and illustrator I want to create powerful and poetic art that can become a springboard for the viewers' imagination. Despite appearances, the images are grounded in reality, often beginning as drawings made from life. My art frequently combines concerns about what is happening on the world stage with a spiritual awareness. It is a kind of visionary diary.

Lucy Churchill's taboo-breaking sculpture is as beautiful & finely crafted as it is confrontational. With a frank female gaze she addresses women’s sexuality and the right to body-autonomy using a visual language that is original whilst referencing diverse cultural imagery.
