    I have lived and walked in both urban & natural environments from London to Staffordshire and currently near Nottingham. In 2015 I completed an MA in Fine Art, through using my culture of walking, and I’m inspired by ‘edgeland’ landscapes. Drawing on the materiality of landscape, and with techniques such as frottage I consider notions around ‘mapping’ and the ‘reality’ of what we see

    I’m a painter and printmaker, who is graduated from Sheffield Hallam University in Fine Arts 2004. I now practice my work in the Yorkshire Artspace Exchange Place Studios. My work is mostly abstract or semi abstract landscape paintings or botanical prints that mostly derives from my experiences and feelings of certain places and or being with nature.

    Ineke Van der Wal is foremost a painter. Her practise has been extensive since the early 80 place over many years . She is currently based in the Southwest of England . The work has consistently been challenging , even uncomfortable, where the aesthetics of paint can engage the viewer. Her practise comprises painting , drawing and writing and is approached from a subjective female perspective.

    I am a new mixed media artist, having come to it from a textile-making (including mainly millinery, weaving, spinning, dying, knitting, sewing and lacemaking) background and recently discovered that my making skills can be a good solid foundation on which to build my creative confidence and extend into a textile art practice.

    I am an artist and freelance curator. I hold an MA in Contemporary Curation from Norwich University of the Arts. I have been sculpting professionally since 2011. My work is figurative and inspired by folklore and the natural world. I work mainly in paperclay, recycled materials and mixed media. I teach workshops in paperclay sculpting.
