    Vivid, gestural oil paintings reveal a fascination with emotional states, with the help of unwitting accomplices captured from feature film and TV- their surfaces hint at depths of emotion below. Forever given pause, they comment on emotional entanglement with the artificial as a substitute – or perhaps immunisation against- the fluctuating feelings of everyday life.

    Misiones (b.1960), Argentina, Zavala grew up in an artistic environment of writers, musicians, and landscape painters, and these reemerged later in his life when he adopted art in different formats. Past awards include public commissions for an urban sculpture in Hertfordshire in 2006. Zavala was trained in fine art at the Newlyn School of Art in 2021-22. He has lived in the UK since 1996.

    I have been working as a sculptor and upcycle artist for nearly a decade, turning discarded plastic and found materials into meaningful sculptures that carry my personal reflection. My work is inspired by a deep love for humanity and the sacredness of nature. Using simple symbols like ant to represent land life and fish for aquatic life, their stories speaking to many human truths.

    My 2D work describes concepts using narratives, symbols and visual rhythms. I have curated 37+exhibitions for a gallery founded in a social inclusion project in S. London.     I am a Brighton based artist who explores the weird and the wonky through watercolour, pencil drawings and mixed media ornamental art boxes. I received my degree in Cultural and Historical Studies from the University of Brighton and have exhibited at Newhaven Art Space, Pretty Neat Gallery, and Artist's Open Houses and my work will soon be shown at Animalartspace in the Drawing Exhibition.

    Born 1957 and raised by artist parents, I've been immersed in creativity all my life. I completed an AA in art before emigrating to London, settling, working as a professional seamstress, and having 2 boys 18 years apart (1983, 2001). Acquired a BA in Interior Architecture in 2000. My art and craft has emerged and evolved in various forms and waves across the 40+ years I've lived here.

    Hi I’m a self employed artist/illustrator and art teacher. I run art workshops, create wall and window murals for businesses and educational settings and I create original art /illustration prints which I stock in my online shop and sell at art markets and exhibitions. I illustrate empowered perfectly imperfect women, and I also draw figures exploring the great outdoors. I use inks and collage.

    I am a mixed media artist and Designer/ Maker I have always been interested in interdisciplinary or mixed-media arts exploring different mediums, i trained in the North East of England at university of Northumbria in Newcastle. recently designing and building structures for festival installation.
