    Josh is a kiln-formed glass artist based in North Yorkshire who specialises in vitrigraph murrine — a traditional Italian technique reinterpreted through contemporary processes.     Cassy Oliphant is a painter, illustrator and community artist. Folk tales, nature, her love of travel and bringing people together are her main influences. Community and sharing stories has roots in much of her work. She has over 10 years experience working within community settings, from women's refuges to working with learning disabilities.

    I was born in London. I work from my studio in S-W Scotland to produce mostly Modern Mosaic and Mixed media pieces. I have a background in Painting and Sculpture, holding a First Class Honours Dip. A. D. and Post-Graduate Commonwealth Award for Sculpture to India. I formed Kate Anderson Mosaics in 2002, and am a professional member of the British Association for Modern Mosaic.

    My mixed-media practice is influenced by science and often draws inspiration from my Dutch/Brazilian heritage. It aims to encourage the viewer to question knowledge and value systems by teasing their cognitive senses. Since graduating from Goldsmiths in 2004 I have exhibited in galleries, museums and alternative venues across the UK and done residencies in France, Holland and Finland.
