    I am a lifelong self taught artist who at a point in life when many of my peers retired began a project with three artists friends to firmly place creativity, artistic exploration & development of practise firmly at the centre of life by opening a gallery, studio & workshop. When I am not creating I am exploring my universe, collecting adventures, images, & impressions.

    Lo graduated from the Glasgow School of Art in 2009 with a Ba(Hons) in Fine Art. She has since been writing, drawing and working in Leeds with her cat and number one fan, Moo. She works as an independent Illustrator and is one half of the creative duo, Lo & Vee. Together they run a regular art class and have had success with their large, detailed, painted murals.

    At LKGlassHouse, I explore nature’s forms through stained glass, balancing structure with spontaneity. My work often blends a darker edge with a sense of play, reflecting contrasts found in the natural world.     During total isolation, in lockdown, I painted over a 164 artworks up to date. I also took up meditation which allowed my imagination to flow again. It was cathartic and eased the trauma from what was happening in the outside world. Life is returning back to what was before, but with a greater sense of appreciating family and friends, united.

    Born in Hertfordshire in 1963, Rob now works between his studio near Rye in East Sussex and his cottage in St Ives, Cornwall. The sea and surrounding countryside has always been a great inspiration for my art, whether they are expressed through an abstract, semi-abstract or representational approach.
