    Ashley Cundall is a Manchester based British contemporary artist best known for expressive urban and architectural paintings, particularly of UK cityscapes and coastal towns. He works mainly in acrylic, mixed media, and watercolour, often combining loose washes with bold line work, using Impressionistic and Expressionistic elements.

    I am primarily a painter, based in the east of England. I apply the philosophy of collage to the materials of painting. Since graduating from Chelsea College of Arts M A course in 1998 I have worked with an archive of materials generated in the studio ( canvas offcuts and dried films/puddles/fragments of paint) to construct images from imagination and memory.

    A recent MA Graduate interested in colour and the way light, movement and scale change perception of colour. Inspired by the principles of Reuse/Recycle, Permaculture Gardening, I'm a 'magpie', exploring 'something from nothing', time passing during a process. Each body of work I produce is varied but I'm looking at the same factors; how colour and light affects (inside/outside) materials.

    Based in the UK East Midlands, I became a full time artist in 2019. Semi abstract in nature, my work combines a fine art background and a long held fascination with wood in all forms. Sustainability underpins my practice; resource management and contributing to art communities is very important to me. We met whilst studying for M.A. Fine Art at Sheffield Hallam University and discovered that we hold shared ideas and concerns.     Sam Haynes started her practice over twenty five years ago creating site specific public art installations, engaging local communities. Her creative process is still all about making connections, incorporating found objects and materials, using low tech methods of construction to create abstract, geometric assemblages that reference architectural space.

    I am an emerging visual artist exploring human experience and connection. Based on the edge of the New Forest, I use this inspirational environment in much of my work. Using narrative, language and visual impact to explore themes such as motherhood, our connection to nature, the body and spirituality, I often draw upon lived experience and work mainly within sculpture, photography and collage.
