I am an international artist based in Leeds and Hyderabad. I make blue textile batik pieces and animations. Through my practice, I study the interaction of different shades of blue with each other. I make use of the laborious processes of batik and animation to make carefully curated decisions about the colours (specifically blue) used in my work.

My prints are influenced by my love of being immersed in nature and my belief that everyone has a right to be wrapped in the natural world. They are also influenced by my love of arts that explore folklores, especially those relating to the changing seasons.

I'm a new graduate of Fine Art working in pen and ink and I love to capture the little details of the world around me in Yorkshire. I've come to art after a career in archaeology, where observing and drawing the small details was an essential part of my role. These technical archaeological drawings form the foundation of my practice, inspiring me to look at the fine details around me.
