    I am based in Newport, South Wales and am a long-standing member of Cardiff Print Workshop. Over the years I have been self-employed as an artist and teacher, offering workshops and master classes to a variety of organisations and individuals. I strive to exhibit my work where ever I can.     Embroiderer and wordsmith, Catherine Hill is a multi-award-winning contemporary textile artist based in the UK. Her artistic vision is drawn from her childhood memories growing up in the English county of Lancashire in the 1970’s. After transitioning to glass art, a stroke in 2019 reshaped his practice.     I am a painter who is interested in people, places, objects and groups in society. My role as a teacher informs my work and I often respond to my immediate environment. Painting offers a special opportunity to combine imagery, technique and art historical references to tell stories and suggest ideas. The act of looking, drawing and the physical mixing and application of colour are important to me.
