    I am a textile artist using machine embroidery as my main medium. I work in my studio in Sheffield called 'Stitched Up and Fleeced'. I trained at Bolton Art College Foundation Course 1971-2 , Loughborough College of Art and Design Degree in Stitched Textiles 1975, PGCE Art and Design at Leicester 1976, Member of the Society of Designer Craftsmen since 1996 and awarded a Fellowship in 2013.

    I'm a 53 year old Artist from Yorkshire, i Love to paint what is in my head. I do occasionally like to paint a portrait, usually a personality from a band. Having suffered with my mental health issues i find it a personally tailored therapy that seems to work well. I would like very much to share my paintings.

    I am a fine art photographer with a love for photography since getting my first camera as a teenager. Initially working as a landscape architect for 40 years till 2015 I decided to change direction to pursue my passion for b+w fine-art landscape photography using both 35mm and medium formats. I believe the strength of black and white is that it allows the very soul of the image to be expressed

    I constantly take photos and use them as source material to make videos and animations and prints and paint. I often see beauty in junk and the forgotten and the in-between. Play and humour and collaboration are important in my work as in my life. I am a quiet environmentalist and try to do my bit for the planet. 
I live with my son, my partner, sometimes his daughter and our dog in London.

    I’m a contemporary artist creating vibrant, textured landscapes inspired by peaceful woods and delicate light. With a First-Class BA Hons in Fine Art painting and printmaking, I now work from my studio in the Peak District. Inspired by nature, I build layers of acrylic or oil with intuitive, impressionist techniques to evoke calm, colour and a blend of abstraction and realism.

    I am a freelance photographer with a wide range of photographic interests, so I don't specialise in any particular genre.     British Multimedia Artist, originally from Manchester now based in the North East. His art lives in several private collections across the world. In 2025, he won the Collectors' Art Prize - Legends of Our Time Award. In 2020, he won best in show for the International Art Folio 2020 Annual award.
