    Hi My name is Tony Cooney i’m based in Stockton on Tees. I’m a self taught artist and work predominantly in Oul Pastels on paper. I also like to use recycled cardboard such as old Amazon envelopes and the outer hardbacks of artist pads. I also work in charcoal and oil/acrylics.

    During total isolation, in lockdown, I painted over a 164 artworks up to date. I also took up meditation which allowed my imagination to flow again. It was cathartic and eased the trauma from what was happening in the outside world. Life is returning back to what was before, but with a greater sense of appreciating family and friends, united.

    I am a graduate professional artist with BA Fine Art First Class Honours 2006. I'm inspired by the landscape and create work that abstracts what I see and experience. Often working en plein air I create dynamic & colourful compositions. I'm inspired by abstract expressionism with rapid expressive mark making & striking colours of Fauvism. I have a strong exhibition catalogue over 20 shows in 2025.

    Gumbley is a self taught fine art portrait, landscape and still life photographer, spending his earlier life writing poetry and scripts for his own personal wellbeing until he picked up a camera in the late nineties.     A painting practice where images emerge from reused palette surfaces, testing how little information is needed for a figure to appear. Rooted in Gestalt, predictive perception, pareidolia and history, these small works feel discovered rather than designed, carrying tension, tenderness and the pleasure of seeing something unexpected arrive.

    Dex Hannon is a British multimedia artist based in Blyth, North East England, UK, originally from Manchester. He is driven by transformation and reinvention, guided by the recurring simple question, “What else could it be?” where a single image can trigger a chain of works that migrate between mediums through repetition, revision and recontextualisation.

    Sue is a contemporary yorkshire based artist gaining a Diploma in Fine Art, Jacob Kramer, 1993. BA Honours Degree in Art and Design at Bradford College In 1997. Exhibitions since; most notables The Royal Academy Summer Show 2024, Royal Cambrian 2023. Primarily Sue uses oil paint, to draw out intangible moments from specific memories. Layers of impasto being a striking feature of her work.
