    I have been painting and exhibiting since 1998 and spent 12 years in Vietnam where I owned a gallery. I am so happy to be back in my native Yorkshire. My recent watercolour and acrylic works concern themes such as Origins, Belonging and the Joy of Life. I believe in the honesty of art and follow where my inspirations lead me. Inspirations include Hundertwasser, Doig, Hurvin Anderson and Hockney.

    I am a Scottish photographer, filmmaker, artist and educator who lives in Lewes, East Sussex. Being brought up on a farm has contributed heavily towards my practice. I enjoyed a lot of freedom, but my existence was quite isolated which, in hindsight, instilled an ability to work alone and an urge for self-expression.

    I am a sculptor and printmaker based in Rossendale, Lancashire, UK, and exhibit my work nationally and internationally. I am a Member of The Royal Society of Sculptors and the European Sculpture Network.     I am a figurative sculptor working in the UK with gallery representation but now branching out into collaborative and site specific work. I use life casting to play along the spectrum of abstraction and figuration, often working in plaster and seeking ways of representing the human form that find beauty in the unusual or rarely appreciated.     Based in the UK East Midlands, I became a full time artist in 2019. Semi abstract in nature, my work combines a fine art background and a long held fascination with wood in all forms.
