    I am a trained textile and surface pattern designer and have been fortunate to have travelled extensively to which has inspired the majority of my art work. I enjoy working with multimedia and utilising digital technology for the final piece. I am inspired by the combination of colourways in landscapes, nature and abstract imagery.

    Cat is a visual artist based in Mid-Wales whose work focuses on portraiture and the figure. Primarily painting in oils, and drawing in charcoal and pastels, her work is imaginative and often has one foot in history or reality, whilst the other dabbles in myth or daydreams.

    I am a conceptual artist based in London. I moved to London from Ukraine in 2001 and have been a part of Studio Fridays until 2022. I am self taught and draw my inspiration from the connection between humans and nature, exploring transience, change, grief, loss and ageing. I am the Ambassador of Arts 4 Dementia & run community workshop for people with dementias.

    I am a neurobiologist by day and artist by night. I explore various topics directly impacting me like the emotional impact of chronic pain, the nature, and the science around me.     Sinead Barker is a self-taught, neurodivergent textile artist whose work is rooted in her lifelong affinity and deep bond with animals. She creates animal portraits using collaged fabrics, hand-dyed canvases and free-motion machine stitching to blend patterns and add fine details to bring each animal to life.

    Since my training at Edinburgh College of Art I have been inspired by nature. My mission explores the emotional symbolism of my subject matter and seeks to distil the image to enhance this. I am a slow meditative painter. This process puts me in touch with the healing spirit I inherited from the medics in my family. I want to help people find an inner sense of peace and connection with nature.
