    I am a freelance photographer with a wide range of photographic interests, so I don't specialise in any particular genre.     Recent graduate of a first class degree in BA (Hons) Fine Art at the Northern School of Art. I enjoy the process of investigating landscape via graphite, paint, photography and collage. I absolutely love being on location with a sketchbook and pencil. I am Interested in the emotional, historical and environmental aspects of the landscape that give my work purpose and warmth.

    I am an artist based in Cumbria, originally from South Yorkshire. My main focus within my art practice is to create sculptural artworks by recreating and repurposing items and materials that I collect, source and find. I also explore the use of other materials (such as wire, etc), other art practices (such as ink drawings, etc) and the making of decorative goods.

    Every artwork is an invitation to pause. I don’t create paintings simply to be looked at. I create spaces to be entered. Mixed media, conceptual artist exploring emotional memory through textured abstraction, found objects and sculptural surfaces.     I am a Bradford based Chinese artist, a graduate of Yunnan Arts University in Kunming where I also qualified as a teacher. Although my personal preference is for abstract painting in oils, after taking up residence in The UK, I further developed my skills as a portrait painter. More recently, I was inspired to create landscapes after securing temporary studio space in Bradford city centre.
