My paintings and collographic prints are about the landscape. They consider the narrative between humanity and the environment by recording the impact of industry in my area. This includes historic quarries. I use textured mark to build up rich layers of materials, including using gesso, collage and inks which I develop into larger works

I’m an interdisciplinary artist who primarily works with sculpture. Both in my art practice and research, I’m drawn to ideas and investigations of liminal states, metamorphoses and abjection, observing these terms in the context of surrealism, and posthumanist philosophy. I’m particularly interested in exploring the ways human (bodies) relate to different entities, what it means to be human.

My practice is one of storytelling through various mediums, some might be painting with subtle narrative elements, straight forward illustrations or short animations. Mostly, I search for the subtle narrative weaved within aesthetics.
