An erstwhile lecturer in Higher Education, an art writer and critic, she has published,exhibited and lectured internationally on subjectivity and identity.     As mixed media artist, I have worked as a textile artist since I took early retirement 14 years ago. Recently, I have also restarted water colour painting and my work now includes a mixture of paint, fabrics, stitch, hand weaving and embellishments. I have taken many courses on textile art techniques, printing, eco dyeing, paper making. etc.

    Ashley Cundall is a Manchester based British contemporary artist best known for expressive urban and architectural paintings, particularly of UK cityscapes and coastal towns. He works mainly in acrylic, mixed media, and watercolour, often combining loose washes with bold line work, using Impressionistic and Expressionistic elements.

    I am primarily a painter, based in the east of England. I apply the philosophy of collage to the materials of painting. Since graduating from Chelsea College of Arts M A course in 1998 I have worked with an archive of materials generated in the studio ( canvas offcuts and dried films/puddles/fragments of paint) to construct images from imagination and memory.
