    Valerie Kuzina is a London-based artist working primarily with dry media. Her practice is rooted in observational sketching. These studies are later developed in the studio, resulting in carefully composed drawings that emphasise clarity, tension and atmosphere. Recent work is site-specific, responding to the streets, architecture and details within her London neighbourhood.

    I am a UK-based sculptor exploring transformation, identity, and social narratives through form and material. Rooted in craftsmanship, my practice bridges traditional making with contemporary conceptual sculpture. I work with wood, marble, steel, concrete, copper, and reclaimed materials such as pallet wood, examining labour, balance, and the human condition.

    I am a Scottish artist who studied at The Glasgow School of Art. I work primarily in traditional artistic mediums such as drawing and painting. Photography and digital art is also explored, along with sculpture. Themes of the human condition, emotions, mental health and art as therapy are explored.

    Graduating in 1987 from Maidstone College of Art, with a Fine Arts BA (hons) degree I entered the world of teaching after gaining a PGCE at Bretton hall. My role as art teacher rapidly developed to head of department, head of faculty, to becoming an AST, and deputy head at a SEND School, Recently I was a teacher of nurture after 2 years of art, photography, teaching before retiring in Dec 2024

    I am a Yorkshire lass from Barnsley. I recently graduated from Hull with a fine art degree. I have immersed myself in creativity to cope with a long term illness fibromyalgia. Using open water swimming and the combination of a fibre arts based creative practice has seen i through difficult times.

    Trained, practiced and taught Graphic Design turned to Printmaking as a main practice since 2017. Concentrated on Linocut initially predominantly 'Reduction'. Recently returned to college for an Adult learning Printmaking course and introduced to Tetrapak, Drypoint, Aquatint and other Intaglio processes which has expanded my outlook on many other possibilities and approaches.

    I started out in art creating pencil pet portraits for friends and family. When these proved popular, I branched out and began experimenting with a variety of media, and a variety of subjects. I am always learning, and thoroughly enjoying the process. I decided to take the plunge and set up a website for my art earlier in 2025.

    A recent MA Graduate interested in colour and the way light, movement and scale change perception of colour. Inspired by the principles of Reuse/Recycle, Permaculture Gardening, I'm a 'magpie', exploring 'something from nothing', time passing during a process. Each body of work I produce is varied but I'm looking at the same factors; how colour and light affects (inside/outside) materials.
