    I am a largely self-taught artist, my art practice spanning work with natural colour and experimental and sustainable film photography. I was born in former Czecho-Slovakia and my present art practice is informed by my Slavic roots and folklore cultural heritage.     I am a visual artist who creates drawing and paintings that explore and express acrobatic movement and embodied experience. In 2022/23, I awarded Arts Council England funding for my project ‘ProPriOception’.     I resumed making sculpture in 2014 and have since shown sculpture, audio visual pieces and drawing. I am interested in the experiences of new, older artists returning or starting to make art that takes into account contemporary practices. I make constructions that are material and tangible and whose component forms often have a direct relation to the features of the gallery or site.
