    I grew up in Zambia, studied Classics and Education at St. Mary’s University in London, and later graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with a B.A. Honours in Fine Art.     MINA, Wilhelmina Odoley Quaynor, is a Ghanaian-born contemporary heritage and landscape artist based in London. Working in oils and acrylics with brushes and palette knives, she explores memory, identity, architecture and cultural connection through atmospheric paintings inspired by places she has visited, experienced and remembered.

    I am a Brighton based artist. A working mum who tries to find a time and space to express herself via art. This is passion that has been put aside and pushed down the long to do list. Putting myself first became very important since last year I had a mental breakdown and panick attack. Recently joined the Brighton Women Artists group whose main aim is to promote women from all background.

    I am a graduate professional artist with BA Fine Art First Class Honours 2006. I'm inspired by the landscape and create work that abstracts what I see and experience. Often working en plein air I create dynamic & colourful compositions. I'm inspired by abstract expressionism with rapid expressive mark making & striking colours of Fauvism.     I am an artist working in Sheffield painting and sculpting alongside welding, making and restoring to make money. I went to art college in tI mid 80's for an art foundation course and failed it so not really trained but not fully an Outsider. At 60 I was diagnosed with combined Autism and ADHD and discovered an underlying cause for many situations I have been in that have influenced my work
