    I am an author I studied for an MA in art and a BA graduated in both, and then went on to study psychology. I have done various psychotherapy courses and classes.     Rachel (they/them) is a prolific, intuitive artist who has been practicing since graduating in1990 from Central Saint Martins School of Art, London. They follow where their creativity takes them on the day; using sketching, linocut, mono printing, sewing and painting.     I run a multidisciplinary practice working in textiles, drawing and painting. My artist lead work is inspired by natural form; intuitively driven and grown over long hours in the studio, it aims to capture the sensuality, tenacity and evolution of natural plant forms. Additionally, I can turn my hand to any theme or pallet and create unique work on a commission basis. I enjoy the challenge.

    I started out in art creating pencil pet portraits for friends and family. When these proved popular, I branched out and began experimenting with a variety of media, and a variety of subjects. I am always learning, and thoroughly enjoying the process. I decided to take the plunge and set up a website for my art earlier in 2025.
