    Inspired by her home county of Yorkshire, Katrina works in a wild and free manner such as the laws of nature demand. The motive behind these stimulating paintings is the exploration of beauty in our surroundings. Taking patterns and colours from flowers, water, earth and sky and using them as stand alone designs or to decorate a variety of creatures, transforming them into hypnotic beings.

    Graduate from the Royal college of art. 7 years ago I moved from my birth place of south east London to East Sussex which has impacted my art considerably. Though from childhood I always felt happier in the countryside, I felt a juxtaposition between living in a city and infrequently visiting the countryside now I am here feeling more inspired by my surroundings.

    Hi I’m a self employed artist/illustrator and art teacher. I run art workshops, create wall and window murals for businesses and educational settings and I create original art /illustration prints which I stock in my online shop and sell at art markets and exhibitions. I illustrate empowered perfectly imperfect women, and I also draw figures exploring the great outdoors. I use inks and collage.

    I'm a 53 year old Artist from Yorkshire, i Love to paint what is in my head. I do occasionally like to paint a portrait, usually a personality from a band.     Since retirement, I work with textiles most days. I use a lot of up cycled materials and apply paint and stitch to tell a story. I also volunteer with Guide Dogs for the Blind, Scotland. We foster lovely pups, giving them a cosy home as they go through their training.
