    My work is completely concerned with context, process and materials. I make paintings, drawings and collages, often on a very large scale. I use the dark room as an experimental space, making camera less imagery and double exposed 35mm. I use Lo-Fi audio techniques collecting field recordings and glitched samples.

    During total isolation, in lockdown, I painted over a 164 artworks up to date. I also took up meditation which allowed my imagination to flow again. It was cathartic and eased the trauma from what was happening in the outside world. Life is returning back to what was before, but with a greater sense of appreciating family and friends, united.

    I am a neurobiologist by day and artist by night. I explore various topics directly impacting me like the emotional impact of chronic pain, the nature, and the science around me.     Believe it or not I first used drawings to impress my father so from childhood it has been my go to place when depressed and also done out of joy being a disabled artist I like to use my talent to express feelings and emotions situations in life

    Shapes jump out at me. Encouraged by my own stereo blindness, shapes that could be seen as a face or body, merge and spring from anywhere. In nature, in the studio or reading a magazine, these pareidolic face experiences influence my collages, photographs and paintings. They explore the flatness of my perception and the depth of what seems to be reality.

    My work anchors me to reality, a lens of visual translation that enables me to attempt to understand human thought and behaviour at a deeper level. The unreality of day to day existence is relentless, a maze of whirring dualities and circus mirrors, through paint I tune in to the collective consciousness and become a translator for the seen but not heard.
