    I grew up in Zambia, studied Classics and Education at St. Mary’s University in London, and later graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with a B.A. Honours in Fine Art. As teacher and artist, my interests have often overlapped. I have exhibited in many English and European cities, as can be seen in my CV on this website.     I was born in London in 1953. Studied Fine Art (painting) at Sheffield School of Art and Design graduating with an Honours degree in Fine Art in 1975 I have travelled extensively in Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia and Iceland. I have been a photographer for over forty years qualifying as an Associate of the British Institute of Professional Photographers and the Royal Photographic Society.

    Eugene Power trained in fine art painting at Falmouth School of Art and University of East London and has worked as a lecturer in Adult and Further Education for over 25 years. His main practice is in painting, but he also works with photography, assemblage and collage.

    I have degrees in environmental science and fine art and an MA in fine art, and won a scholarship in philosophy (International Society for philosophers). I have exhibited and performed internationally - drawings, artists books and vocalisations.
