    Kate Brown is a North Yorkshire-based visual artist. Grounded in rhizomatic thinking, her practice considers how memory, material, and place are carried through process. Rooted in transience and grief, her work embraces change as a generative condition. She has exhibited in the UK, Japan, and Germany and is currently undertaking an MFA.

    I resumed making sculpture in 2014 and have since shown sculpture, audio visual pieces and drawing. I am interested in the experiences of new, older artists returning or starting to make art that takes into account contemporary practices. I make constructions that are material and tangible and whose component forms often have a direct relation to the features of the gallery or site.

    My name is Harriet Pybus and iv recently spent a lot of time reflecting back on photographs that I have taken over the years. My photographs provide sanctuary from the turmoil of the modern world.     I design and make mixed media jewellery from my workshop in Bingley, West Yorkshire. I work predominantly in silver but like to combine other, found materials to my work to add colour and interest.     Born 1957 and raised by artist parents, I've been immersed in creativity all my life. I completed an AA in art before emigrating to London, settling, working as a professional seamstress, and having 2 boys 18 years apart (1983, 2001). Acquired a BA in Interior Architecture in 2000. My art and craft has emerged and evolved in various forms and waves across the 40+ years I've lived here.
