    I am a teacher of Geography and until a few years ago I never thought I had a creative bone in my body. I then discovered wood turning and the joy of shaping wood as if it was clay. I have rapidly moved away from traditional wood turning and like to use a variety of non-traditional wood and different materials that enhance the wood. I like form and shape inspired by nature.

    Though rooted in printmaking, my MA in Fine Art (UAL) encouraged me to expand my practice to include installation and assemblage. I use a range of media including traditional (e.g. print, ceramics) and newer technologies (e.g. laser cut) which I combine to stretch possibilities.     Amber Stefani is a Norfolk-based artist and lighting designer working as Amberlights. Since 2014, she has created sculptural lighting for homes and meditation spaces. Her large-scale sensory installations have toured UK festivals and light events since 2018. Her practice combines sacred geometry, colour, reflection, light, sound and participatory creativity.
