    Graduating in 1987 from Maidstone College of Art, with a Fine Arts BA (hons) degree I entered the world of teaching after gaining a PGCE at Bretton hall. My role as art teacher rapidly developed to head of department, head of faculty, to becoming an AST, and deputy head at a SEND School, Recently I was a teacher of nurture after 2 years of art, photography, teaching before retiring in Dec 2024

    Lauren Dawson is a multidisciplinary visual artist from Northern Ireland, with an environmental focus. Lauren graduated with a BA Hons in Fine and Applied Art from the University of Ulster Belfast in 2008, and a Masters in Cultural Heritage and Museum Studies in 2010, specialising in art curating.

    Valerie Kuzina is a London-based artist working primarily with dry media. Her practice is rooted in observational sketching. These studies are later developed in the studio, resulting in carefully composed drawings that emphasise clarity, tension and atmosphere.     Since my training at Edinburgh College of Art I have been inspired by nature. My mission explores the emotional symbolism of my subject matter and seeks to distil the image to enhance this. I am a slow meditative painter. This process puts me in touch with the healing spirit I inherited from the medics in my family. I want to help people find an inner sense of peace and connection with nature.

    I am a graduate professional artist with BA Fine Art First Class Honours 2006. I'm inspired by the landscape and create work that abstracts what I see and experience. Often working en plein air I create dynamic & colourful compositions. I'm inspired by abstract expressionism with rapid expressive mark making & striking colours of Fauvism. I have a strong exhibition catalogue over 20 shows in 2025.
