    Born 1957 and raised by artist parents, I've been immersed in creativity all my life. I completed an AA in art before emigrating to London, settling, working as a professional seamstress, and having 2 boys 18 years apart (1983, 2001). Acquired a BA in Interior Architecture in 2000. My art and craft has emerged and evolved in various forms and waves across the 40+ years I've lived here.

    I am a mixed media artist and Designer/ Maker I have always been interested in interdisciplinary or mixed-media arts exploring different mediums, i trained in the North East of England at university of Northumbria in Newcastle. recently designing and building structures for festival installation.     Working with salvaged ecclesiastical glass, I use historical fragments to construct new paradigms of image‑making. Informed by early Renaissance craft, my practice reconfigures light, fracture and inherited forms for contemporary meaning.

    Lin Cheung is an abstract mixed media artist, international educator and coach. Her work explores materiality, surface, structure and intuitive mark-making, often drawing on the urban environment and the physical behaviour of paint. Alongside her studio practice, she supports artists through courses, critique groups and one-to-one coaching.
