    I live in the Bannau Brycheiniog, working as an artist, curator and tutor. My family has a log history in artistic and healing practices, and I am very happy to be ableto continue these traditions as an artist and facilitator. My work is influencedby cycles, seasons and stories, as well as the Welsh mountains surrounding me, and the ancient stories that they hold.

    The first time I touched clay, it was a peaceful and comforting experience. There is nothing more grounding than working by hand with raw materials and watching as it slowly transforms into a piece of work. This started by accident. As someone who has ADHD, it’s incredibly difficult to be still, and I feel the need to constantly be doing something with my hands.

    Shona Davies and Jon Klein both studied at Sir John Cass College of Art where they graduated in 2007 with first class honours. They were also joint recipients of the Owen Rowley Prize and John Cass Purchase prize. Klein specialised in Time Based Media and Davies in Printmaking and 3-D. Dave Monaghan studied at Liverpool and Canterbury Colleges of Art where he specialised in sculpture.

    Born in Lancashire, painting and drawing since a young child, I gained a degree in graphic design and pursued a career in design for over 25 years, whilst continuing to paint. Painting is my passion and my purpose. Now concentrating fully on painting professionally.     I am a graduate professional artist with BA Fine Art First Class Honours 2006. I'm inspired by the landscape and create work that abstracts what I see and experience. Often working en plein air I create dynamic & colourful compositions. I'm inspired by abstract expressionism with rapid expressive mark making & striking colours of Fauvism.     Trained, practiced and taught Graphic Design turned to Printmaking as a main practice since 2017. Concentrated on Linocut initially predominantly 'Reduction'. Recently returned to college for an Adult learning Printmaking course and introduced to Tetrapak, Drypoint, Aquatint and other Intaglio processes which has expanded my outlook on many other possibilities and approaches.

    I'm an artist, educator and curator. I create sculptural installations, using recycled and found materials. At the root of my practice is the notion of interconnectedness, with a focus on environmental concerns about human exploitation of nature. Projects include step in stone '15 and B-Wing '19.     Janes practice combines drawing, printmaking and embroidery. She works from her studio in Stockport, and exhibits regularly both nationally and internationally. Jane studied embroidered textiles at Goldsmiths college followed by postgraduate study at Manchester Polytechnic. Having lectured for 30 years at Manchester School of Art , Jane changed career in 2020 to become a full time artist.
