    I've been working in education as a technician in various guises for over ten years. This has given me a wealth of knowledge and encounters that crosses specialist subject areas and allows me to bring in processes from different specialism into my art practice. I am currently undertaking my Masters in History of Design run jointly by the RCA and V&A.

    I am Olamide Adesola aka Ayo'lamide. I have a masters degree in Fine Art from Teesside University and a BSc degree in Fine Arts from Obafemi Awolowo, Nigeria. I started art as a young girl. I have participated in exhibitions, home & abroad. This was done so as to solidify my intention of achieving an uninterrupted creative/professional practice as a professional artist.     Interdisciplinary artist from Yorkshire, based in Kent and Wood Green. I work primarily with fibre and textiles, creating large installations and smaller wall based textiles. The fabric is disrupted by toxic elements. My focus is on the hand sewn and analogue embroidery of the textile. The process is damage and repair. The work is supported by wooden frames, metal hooks, string and cord.

    I am a London based artist who uses photography, digital manipulation, and sound to create images, video, and installations. Searching beneath the surface by unpacking the layers that we keep secure is a fundamental aspect of my work. Often nostalgic, sometimes beautifully melancholic, I make tender unsettling images drawn from my reflections of human behaviour.
