    I run Izabela Rocks as a small independent studio, handcrafting each piece using inherited crochet, weaving, and macramé techniques. I work in small batches or one-of-a-kind designs, focusing on slow, intuitive making. I source silk, fine metals, and natural gemstones from trusted suppliers, prioritising quality, responsible sourcing, and minimal, recyclable packaging.

    My passion is for fabric and stitch, my background in illustration, fashion and hand-embroidery.     I am a teacher of Geography and until a few years ago I never thought I had a creative bone in my body. I then discovered wood turning and the joy of shaping wood as if it was clay. I have rapidly moved away from traditional wood turning and like to use a variety of non-traditional wood and different materials that enhance the wood. I like form and shape inspired by nature.

Predominantly using ink, acrylics, and pyrography. The collections change organically with the artists' personal experiences, reflecting their inner world and what is absorbed within external surroundings.
