    Currently, I am primarily interested in exploring human/nature discourses through a narrative practice that engages with objects (natural and human-made), representation, and employing a range of processes and means of making.     I am primarily a Landscape Artist but, also create still life and narrative paintings. These are mostly in oil paint. I work out of a studio in Wood Green, part of The Cumberland Road Collective, a group of some 40 Artists and growing. My work has been selected for The Discerning Eye, Exhibition, 2024 and is held in Singapore, France and the UK.

    I am a neurobiologist by day and artist by night. I explore various topics directly impacting me like the emotional impact of chronic pain, the nature, and the science around me. I mainly use charcoal as a medium of artistic expression to empower the dark and messiness of charcoal representing my vision.

    I have a passion for watercolour, pastel of wildlife botanical animal and more recently jewellery making . Over 10 years ago I was medically retired from the NHS with a Neurological condition so I picked up a pencil and started from there and have never stopped. I have done a few craft fairs in North Yorkshire where I'm from . I have now moved to Surrey are and I want to continue here with fairs.

Demi's artwork is fuelled by these contrasting environments, her work is primarily climate focused, forming both abstract landscape and animal paintings using mixed media.
