    My visual arts practice derives from a sense of place and community anchored in politics and experiences of a working-class background. Printing offers me the materiality and medium to experiment with images of strength and violence, representing tactile anger in keeping with present times. I make woodcuts, lino and wood engraving, as well as the traditional medium of etching and aquatint.

    My work explores, identity, space and belonging through memory and migration. I specialise with analogue film and photography, combining this with digital mediums to create layered pieces of artwork. I have a special interest in exploring stories from the past, stories of migration and transition of cultures in today's society.     I am an abstract artist, producing photography and mixed media miniature scenes . After graduating in art photography, I worked in a fine art studio and in between, exhibited at V&A, Stills Gallery, Mall gallery London and in New York, Paris and Vienna. Concentrating now on just my personal work, exploring the spaces where light, texture, and imagination meet.

    I started out in art creating pencil pet portraits for friends and family. When these proved popular, I branched out and began experimenting with a variety of media, and a variety of subjects.
