    I am a printmaker based in Edinburgh Scotland. I travel around the country in my campervan painting plein aire watercolour sketches of the landscape. Back in Edinburgh I convert these sketches into collagraphs and print them either at Edinburgh Printmakers or at home. I am trying to cover the whole of Scotland. I also engage in protest art around refugee, BAME issues and others.

    I have lived in West Yorkshire for most of my life. I can remember from being small that I was drawn to nature and the beautiful landscapes surrounding the area I lived in. In 2014, I completed my foundation course in Art & Design at Leeds College of Art. I went onto study Fine Art at Central St. Martins, where my practice became more complex, larger in scale and retained delicate details.

    I'm a painter, drawing from nature, and seeking the symbiotic relationships and wellbeing that the natural world can bring. My paintings varying in scale, with smaller, more intimate surreal-like painted works forming installations. A process- based and curiosity driven practice, painting with immediacy, and intuition, which is later refined with a more considered aesthetic.

    I’m a local artist working from my studio at Art Space Portsmouth, Hampshire in the U.K. I graduated from The University of Chichester with a B.A. and an M.A. in Fine Art.     Im a graphic designer by trade, having spent many years working in print, advertising and display. I trained in Graphic Design at the Kacob Kramer School in the late 70s. I set up Jagger Studio to promote my Lino prints. I am based in Guiseley, Leeds and currently creating lino print images.
