    I am a contemporary Textile Artist and Feltmaker living and working from my home studio in the Peak District. I take inspiration from forms and textures in the natural world in particular pebbles and found objects gathered on coastal walks and the hills, edges, weather and changing light and colours of the Peak District.

    Marika is a skilled artist and a PhD candidate at Sheffield Hallam University. Her PhD project, Beyond Touch-screens, has been exhibited at the CHI Interactive Experience Bolzano and Stanley Gallery. She has also attended several conferences and residencies, including Activism Neuroaesthetics in Cognitive Capitalism by SFSIA. In 2023, she was a Junior Fellow at IWM for Digital Humanism.

    Sarah completed a degree in textile design and worked as a colourist and print designer for several years before taking up her career in Education. Although not formally trained in the Fine Arts, she uses her knowledge of print and colour to create her own unique style. She travels with her sketchbook to remote places seeking areas of solace for inspiration.

    I have spent a lot of my life fighting stereotypes around misogynistic opportunities of learning and pathways of creativity. My work reflects the imbalance and currently deeper opening of artistic equality. I am currently reflecting and researching the language of gender, especially gender fluidity.

    About me I graduated from Sheffield Hallam University in 2002 with a degree in Sculpture. I have been a Youth Worker for over 30 years.     Adele studied for her B. A. (Hons) Degree in Textile Art at Winchester School of Art. After a short spell working for an interior magazine in London she set out to see the world. Years later, settling down in the historic city of York, she completed a diploma in Children's book illustration gaining a distinction. It was after this that she turned to using her camera, scanner and photoshop.
