    Jess Rippengale grew up in southeast Cornwall and graduated from the University of Plymouth with a first-class BA (hons) in Fine Art. Her work has been shown in London through the Unravelling collective and Scotland with the Spilt Milk collective. Jess’s work explores the British coast through the medium of contemporary craft. She currently lives and works on a Dutch barge in Bristol.

    Richard Kitchen is a visual artist and writer based in York, UK, who has taught literature and theatre in the UK and Spain. In 2020 he was awarded an MA in Fine Art and went on to work at Malthouse studios and to co-manage a community gallery at 23 Piccadilly. He is a co-founder of NAVIGATORS ART & PERFORMANCE.     Layla Jabbari is a Hull-based illustrator working in print and mixed media, including animation and sculpture. Layla's work was shortlisted for the Flourish Awards for excellence in Printmaking and selected for Ones to Watch, Yorkshire 2024. Layla was longlisted for World Illustration Awards 2023 and is on the Artist Inter_change program at Humber Street Gallery Hull.

    I make handmade jewellery in silver and 18ct gold and a wide range of precious stones, with textures and patterns drawn from close up images of beetles, their wing cases, articulated legs, antennae and focus sing on their jewel like qualities. My work also finds inspiration from landscapes where I create jewellery, prints and small paintings inspired by the landscapes of Iceland and Sweden.

    Sally is an artist and curator. She studied as a mature student at Central Saint Martins, graduating in 2017. Her work has been shown in Canada, China, London and other parts of the UK. Sally has curated a number of shows of work by emerging artists in Scarborough and London. In 2021 Sally moved back to Scarborough and is now Chair of Scarborough Studios/Old Parcels Office Artspace.
