    I am a visual artist, born in Scotland and living in the Scottish Borders. My background in craft and fine art is wide and varied. I first trained in ceramics and then studied fine art sculpture and printmaking, at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in Dundee, from which I graduated BA Hons in 1992.     I work with clay to create tactile objects employing techniques that are unique to the hand-building processes. I love the chance elements involved in making and the contradictions which arise in my work that can be both painstakingly slow and precise yet impulsive and gestural.

    Nick Malone crosses art forms to create mysteries and stories through paintings, drawings, artist’s books and podcasts. Initially a writer, he abandoned his former life to become a full-time artist. His work has been exhibited across the world, from Tokyo to the United States, including at the Royal Academy and the Carrousel du Louvre. He has won various national awards.

    Emma's contemporary oil paintings are a fusion of atmosphere, experiment and memory. She draws upon memories of a time and an emotion to overlay into the overall sense of place, capturing the connectivity and the beauty of nature and its calming influence. She is constantly thinking about colours, contrast and composition and how to create movement and texture in her work.

    I'm a British artist living and working in Northumberland. I make paintings on paper and sculptures in paper and wire, concrete and iron resin. I studied art in London, initially at the Sir John Cass School of Art, and then at Central Saint Martin’s majoring in sculpture and drawing at the Royal College of Art.
