    I grew up in Zambia, studied Classics and Education at St. Mary’s University in London, and later graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with a B.A. Honours in Fine Art. As teacher and artist, my interests have often overlapped. I have exhibited in many English and European cities, as can be seen in my CV on this website.     I am a ceramic artist mainly working in decorative ceramics I also make resin/ceramic jewelry I also love creating drawings from various images that inspire me using my drawings for producing T-shirts and prints and cards.

    I am currently producing work that is a a combination of paintings and mixed media relief pieces that combine embroidery, paper clay, precious metal clay, paper, watercolour, ink and found objects. Each piece is accompanied with a poem about and as a response to the physical work. I also work as a development librarian.

    I am a visual artist, illustrator and urban sketcher living and working in Yorkshire, UK. My work deals primarily with the landscapes and built environments in the North of England: I seek to capture the atmosphere and 'feel' of these places in a way that goes beyond description, capturing their essence and creating emotional resonance with the viewer. My preferred medium is watercolour and ink.
