    I have recently completed an art degree in Glass and ceramics from the University of Sunderland. I am a experienced craft tutor and work for WEA and Cultural Spring. I have also run her own workshops at different venues in the North East for several years. During the pandemic I supplied craft kits for people who were isolating. I also run a small studio in South Tyneside.

    In 1985 I graduated in textile design and printed surfaces. Following a solo career as a textile designer and printer I made a natural transition towards abstract painting in 1997. In 2021 I decided to leave a specialist teaching post to become a full time painter and establish my practice and professional presence. I live and work in Ditchling, East Sussex.

    I am a freelance photographer with a wide range of photographic interests, so I don't specialise in any particular genre.     I qualified with a BA in Fine Art in 1982 and after a career in FE and HE I retired early in 2018. I make paintings and sculpture based on real and remembered landscapes presented together to suggest non-linear narratives. In 2004 I took timeout to study an MA in Creative Technology working with 3d modelling and real/virtual environments reflecting the superimposition of memory over place.
