    My work is like a theatre. I’ve been an actor and I take the theatre into my work . I tell stories ; It can be a personal one , someone else story , or I simply invent a new story. It’s about people and places , dreams and hopes , love and hate , human perceptions , like and dislikes and so on .

    Didi Baldwin is a printmaker, photographer and painter, working with broad themes of landscape, time and the sublime. She completed an MA in Printmaking from the RCA in 2002, for which she received a thesis distinction. She won an Erasmus Award to Berlin, and has had several residences in Iceland. She has exhibited in London, Japan and Portugal.

    I am a freelance photographer with a wide range of photographic interests, so I don't specialise in any particular genre. I do, however, love to create images that offer an unusual perspective on the every-day, which enables me to embrace macro photography, as well as documentary and street photography.

I have worked in various artist studios around Yorkshire and worked on a diverse range of projects from commissions to specialist art workshops.     An experimental printmaker using etching and other print making techniques. The work is concerned with the temporal transformation of discarded and forgotten objects into new printed images which emulate the landscape, becoming imaginary map like places. A new 2 or 3 dimensional narrative emerges as they form their new printed landscape
