    Born 1957 and raised by artist parents, I've been immersed in creativity all my life. I completed an AA in art before emigrating to London, settling, working as a professional seamstress, and having 2 boys 18 years apart (1983, 2001). Acquired a BA in Interior Architecture in 2000. My art and craft has emerged and evolved in various forms and waves across the 40+ years I've lived here.

    Sal is known for her expressive portraits that capture fleeting emotions rather than fixed likenesses.     I'm a 53 year old Artist from Yorkshire, i Love to paint what is in my head. I do occasionally like to paint a portrait, usually a personality from a band. Having suffered with my mental health issues i find it a personally tailored therapy that seems to work well. I would like very much to share my paintings.

    Through my work I want to explore the mythological representation of women and how stories have been influenced and reengineered by patriarchy. How women have been written out of folklore and how stories have been changed to fit in with this ideology.

    I am a mixed media artist based in Bedfordshire. My recent work has focused on abstract, geometric and surreal patterns and shapes, expressing underlying themes of mental health and disability. I graduated from the University of Bedfordshire with a BA (Hons) in Art and Design in 2010, after previously studying fashion and textiles and fine art.

    Adele studied for her B. A. (Hons) Degree in Textile Art at Winchester School of Art. After a short spell working for an interior magazine in London she set out to see the world. Years later, settling down in the historic city of York, she completed a diploma in Children's book illustration gaining a distinction. It was after this that she turned to using her camera, scanner and photoshop.
