    I resumed making sculpture in 2014 and have since shown sculpture, audio visual pieces and drawing. I am interested in the experiences of new, older artists returning or starting to make art that takes into account contemporary practices. I make constructions that are material and tangible and whose component forms often have a direct relation to the features of the gallery or site.

    Exploring the exciting properties of encaustic beeswax has been my passion for several years. First used by Ancient Egyptians as a painting medium, it saw a resurgence last century and has continued to flourish. Still relatively unknown in Europe, but once discovered, never forgotten. When I first took up my brush and dipped it into molten wax and pigment I knew I was hooked!

    Artist working in ceramics and on canvas using oils and watercolour. I am represented by four galleries in the UK most recently I had an exhibition in London which celebrated the life and work of Derek Jarman. My ceramic work was part of a larger collection shown at Collect 2024 where the Ulster Museum acquired three of my pieces for their permanent collection.

    My 2D work describes concepts using narratives, symbols and visual rhythms. I have curated 37+exhibitions for a gallery founded in a social inclusion project in S. London.     Hi I’m a self employed artist/illustrator and art teacher. I run art workshops, create wall and window murals for businesses and educational settings and I create original art /illustration prints which I stock in my online shop and sell at art markets and exhibitions. I illustrate empowered perfectly imperfect women, and I also draw figures exploring the great outdoors. I use inks and collage.
