    I work from Yorkshire Artspace, Sheffield. My sculpture & installation practice uses steel wire, salvaged materials & writing to explore invisibility, voicelessness & the politics of periphery. By refusing tidy coherence, my work becomes embodied communication supporting marginalised narratives, tracing links between historical & contemporary silencing, & challenging expectations of expression.

    I am a Northern Irish artist currently based in Kent Using found objects and recycled materials, I tend to work in response to specific sites, indoors and out. Reclaimed materials often retain the traces or scars of their former use but can be given a new energy charge when redeemed. I sometimes combine these with materials held to have more value or impact, such as stained glass, itself recycled

    Milena Makani is a German abstract painter based in London, living with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome.     I’m a plein air painter based in London, my artistic practice is almost exclusively rooted in plein air (outdoor/from life) location based observational painting. I find that through painting outdoors the quality of light and feeling I get from the places I visit comes across in the sense of place in the paintings capturing a moment in time.
