    I am a painter who is interested in people, places, objects and groups in society. My role as a teacher informs my work and I often respond to my immediate environment.     Samuel Booth (b.1982) is a photographer based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, UK. A brain injury in 2009 caused years of daily chronic pain, which photography has been a lifesaving therapy for. The photography started originally as part of a Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award hobby in 2001, it has played a very important role throughout, especially now.

    I am a Scottish photographer, filmmaker, artist and educator who lives in Lewes, East Sussex. Being brought up on a farm has contributed heavily towards my practice. I enjoyed a lot of freedom, but my existence was quite isolated which, in hindsight, instilled an ability to work alone and an urge for self-expression.
