    I come from a family of painters and studied Fine Art at 'A' Level. I have been painting landscapes regularly since 2013 and, having retired from a career in nursing in 2015, am now a full time artist, painting and drawing and have studied portraiture under Andres Jaroslavsky and Luke Thompson. I also hold classes in portraiture (both drawing and painting) and landscape painting around Leeds.

    Born South Yorkshire, England 1969. I have always drawn and painted, then began photography seriously in the 1980s as a teenager, largely learning the technical aspects including film developing and printing from my father and developing my own eye.

    A recent MA Graduate interested in colour and the way light, movement and scale change perception of colour. Inspired by the principles of Reuse/Recycle, Permaculture Gardening, I'm a 'magpie', exploring 'something from nothing', time passing during a process.
