    I'm an artist, educator and curator. I create sculptural installations, using recycled and found materials.     I’m a colour-blind artist/cartoonist fascinated by the overlooked moments of everyday life. The way people interact with their surroundings, both living and inanimate, in ways that are often unnoticed. My work explores the social, philosophical, and humorous aspects of these interactions, inviting viewers to pause and see the world through a fresh lens.

    Born in Lancashire, painting and drawing since a young child, I gained a degree in graphic design and pursued a career in design for over 25 years, whilst continuing to paint.     I am a visual artist based in Hastings and have exhibited, participated in and produced work for artists led projects, residencies and commissions in the UK and Europe. I work with a wide range of materials including installation, sculpture, film and photography and my practice is focused on an exploration of the relationship between our senses, architecture and space.

    During total isolation, in lockdown, I painted over a 164 artworks up to date. I also took up meditation which allowed my imagination to flow again. It was cathartic and eased the trauma from what was happening in the outside world. Life is returning back to what was before, but with a greater sense of appreciating family and friends, united.
