    Sunderland is a painter and drawer living and working in Plymouth, England. His work is constantly referencing the changes in time, light and shadow, and where man-made or natural forms co-exist in the environment. Originally from Leeds, he studied drawing, painting and sculpture at Bradford and Exeter, his work has always had a connection to growing up in the Yorkshire Dales.

    Lindsey McLaren is an accomplished contemporary impressionist artist. She studied illustration and graphic design before completing a Master of Arts at Northumbria University.     Emma's contemporary oil paintings are a fusion of atmosphere, experiment and memory.     I am a multi-media artist based in Yorkshire working in sculpture, performance, photography, video, printmaking and artist’s books. Much of my work is inspired by and takes place in, the landscape around me. Often I am the only audience for my on-site installations, works translated into artist’s books and digitally printed images, crossing the boundary between documentary and primary artwork.

    I am a graduate professional artist with BA Fine Art First Class Honours 2006. I'm inspired by the landscape and create work that abstracts what I see and experience. Often working en plein air I create dynamic & colourful compositions. I'm inspired by abstract expressionism with rapid expressive mark making & striking colours of Fauvism.     Sal is known for her expressive portraits that capture fleeting emotions rather than fixed likenesses. Working in rich layers of oil paint, she draws on film, media, and her own imagery to create characters who feel both familiar and mysterious. With titles often borrowed from dialogue, her paintings hint at stories without telling them outright, leaving space for the viewer to step in.

    During total isolation, in lockdown, I painted over a 164 artworks up to date. I also took up meditation which allowed my imagination to flow again. It was cathartic and eased the trauma from what was happening in the outside world. Life is returning back to what was before, but with a greater sense of appreciating family and friends, united.

    I am a full time artist mainly working in textiles. I have a degree in Fashion & Textiles from Leicester Polytechnic, but have been working in 'creative textiles' for over 15 years. I have experience of working in the community and in schools, creating large textile installations. I also exhibit my work in various exhibitions and Open Studios. I sell my smaller works at fairs and in galleries.
