    Yewbowart (Yvonne Cavens) is a Scottish artist born in Dumfries in 1972. A self-taught creative from a young age, she began drawing horses in oil paints and pastels as a child, developing a deep, intuitive connection with visual storytelling. Her work now blends abstract realism with a touch of whimsy, often inspired by the landscapes, heritage, and spirit of Scotland.

    I am an award winning cross-media artist and filmmaker, having exhibited internationally and worked collaboratively to deliver works that interrogate the role and impact of digital media practice. I have over 20yrs experience of devising and delivering participatory projects.     Hi I’m a self employed artist/illustrator and art teacher. I run art workshops, create wall and window murals for businesses and educational settings and I create original art /illustration prints which I stock in my online shop and sell at art markets and exhibitions. I illustrate empowered perfectly imperfect women, and I also draw figures exploring the great outdoors. I use inks and collage.

    British Multimedia Artist, originally from Manchester now based in the North East. His art lives in several private collections across the world. In 2025, he won the Collectors' Art Prize - Legends of Our Time Award. In 2020, he won best in show for the International Art Folio 2020 Annual award. In 2019, he was shortlisted for the Refresh Art Prize 2019.
