    My felt 'paintings' are intricate, dynamic works created from layers of fibres, threads, and fabrics. Drawing inspiration from human presence in the landscape, my art also reflects a deep fascination with the tactile richness of my materials. My landscapes explore striking contrasts, weaving vivid bursts of colour and form with subtle, earthy tones and delicate details.

    I am a multi-media artist based in Yorkshire working in sculpture, performance, photography, video, printmaking and artist’s books. Much of my work is inspired by and takes place in, the landscape around me. Often I am the only audience for my on-site installations, works translated into artist’s books and digitally printed images, crossing the boundary between documentary and primary artwork.

    I was born in London. I work from my studio in S-W Scotland to produce mostly Modern Mosaic and Mixed media pieces. I have a background in Painting and Sculpture, holding a First Class Honours Dip. A. D. and Post-Graduate Commonwealth Award for Sculpture to India. I formed Kate Anderson Mosaics in 2002, and am a professional member of the British Association for Modern Mosaic.

    I am Natalie Breeze Creative. I love things that are colourful, warm, uplifting and playful. I create mixed media / textile art in the form of canvases, panels, framed works, embroidery hoops and wall hangings. I paint. I produce statement jewellery and other decorative pieces using wire, beads and textiles. I design vibrant prints that I hope spark joy. I sing. I am putting together a cookbook.

    As a visual artist and storyteller, I work across disciplines—incorporating found objects, both natural and manmade, to explore vulnerability and the impermanence of our interconnected world.     I am a teacher of Geography and until a few years ago I never thought I had a creative bone in my body. I then discovered wood turning and the joy of shaping wood as if it was clay. I have rapidly moved away from traditional wood turning and like to use a variety of non-traditional wood and different materials that enhance the wood. I like form and shape inspired by nature.
