    Derby based printmaker and illustrator Nicki Dennett creates multi-layered, mixed media prints inspired by life around her. Nicki’s continual observation of her environment and an appreciation of all aspects of existence inspire her work.     I’m a Yorkshire based textile artist specialising in embroidery. I work in my home studio by the sea in Scarborough. Using fabric and thread, I create textile drawings and objects that tell stories. These stories often have an autobiographical theme, exploring mental health and personal memories.
