    I am an art therapist and a mixed media artist based in the north of England. I explore residual memories of landscapes and environments where I lived and worked pre-pandemic, the changes that are occurring and how these affect our sense of being connected to places.

    My work is an emotional response to the coastal landscape and not a literal interpretation of what I see. The compositions that I develop are not particularly concerned with the specifics of place, but more the elemental relationship between land, sky and sea. The freedom and spontaneity of mark making and gestural paint application allow me to express a more personal image of the environment.

    I am a mixed media artist and Designer/ Maker I have always been interested in interdisciplinary or mixed-media arts exploring different mediums, i trained in the North East of England at university of Northumbria in Newcastle. recently designing and building structures for festival installation.     With an eye for intricate detail and curiosity for pre-owned items, my work focuses on how an object evokes personal comfort through recognition and familiarity. Inspired by everyday objects that often go unnoticed, from matchsticks to hook-and eye fastenings, I create handcrafted jewellery and personal possessions, some of which are wearable and others merely companions to our everyday lives.
