    Dex Hannon is a British multimedia artist based in Blyth, North East England, UK, originally from Manchester. He is driven by transformation and reinvention, guided by the recurring simple question, “What else could it be?” where a single image can trigger a chain of works that migrate between mediums through repetition, revision and recontextualisation.

Her work explores materiality, surface, structure and intuitive mark-making, often drawing on the urban environment and the physical behaviour of paint.
