    I am a teacher of Geography and until a few years ago I never thought I had a creative bone in my body. I then discovered wood turning and the joy of shaping wood as if it was clay. I have rapidly moved away from traditional wood turning and like to use a variety of non-traditional wood and different materials that enhance the wood. I like form and shape inspired by nature.

My work has included a collaboration with Mercedes-Benz Sheffield (JCT600), and I was nominated for the 2019 Keith Hayman Public Art Award for my mural 'Sheffield, the city as an egg'.
