    I am a contemporary artist based in Crewe, with strong links to North Wales and the Welsh Borders. I originally trained as a painter but now specialise in various techniques of original printmaking, print collage, and in artists books. I worked in adult education for many years, and run occasional workshops in collagraph printmaking and artists books.

    I am a mixed media artist and Designer/ Maker I have always been interested in interdisciplinary or mixed-media arts exploring different mediums, i trained in the North East of England at university of Northumbria in Newcastle. recently designing and building structures for festival installation.     I am a visual artist, based near the Lizard peninsular in Cornwall. My practice encompasses painting, film, installation and engagement.     I started working with black communities in the beginning because I felt that when members of the black community were engaged in my work, I could claim the title of visual artist. I see my work as an intervention into spaces of intergenerational wealth created by triangular trade. I also see the work as claiming and occupying space that is raced white for people of colour.
