She holds a PhD in Psychology, and her art education comes from residencies and workshops with artists and printmakers in Yorkshire.     I am a Northumberland-based wildlife artist working primarily in watercolour. Painting directly onto the paper without preliminary drawing, I create loose, expressive work exploring character, connection and the vulnerability of the natural world, balancing fluid washes and expressive marks with areas of focused detail.

    Hi My name is Tony Cooney i’m based in Stockton on Tees. I’m a self taught artist and work predominantly in Oul Pastels on paper. I also like to use recycled cardboard such as old Amazon envelopes and the outer hardbacks of artist pads. I also work in charcoal and oil/acrylics.

    I am an author I studied for an MA in art and a BA graduated in both, and then went on to study psychology. I have done various psychotherapy courses and classes. I am now more into doing the thing I love most painting. I am from Cyprus my family were refugees in Cyprus. I have lived in England for over sixty years. I did a lot of work in catering.
