    I am a graphic designer and a visual artist. I work mostly in oil on canvas but work sometimes with acrylic and water colour. Most of my recent paintings were influenced political and social upheaval of our world today and the works of the Renaissance artists. I do not like artworks to be just for decoration but to evoke feelings.

    As a multimedia artist focussed on photography, Ian works from his studio on the Essex/Suffolk/Cambridgeshire border.     The multi-layered intricate collaged artworks and paintings of Bristol based Clare are truly individual and thrive on personality, with sometimes cheeky mixtures of imagery and texture. Everything she does represents her at her most honest, sometimes crazy and extroverted with bright colours but often sad and introverted in monochrome.

Community and sharing stories has roots in much of her work. She has over 10 years experience working within community settings, from women's refuges to working with learning disabilities.
