    Becky comes from an artistic and literary background. She is based in Brixham Devon. She studied art in the early seventies but was diverted by literature and, latterly, the social development of adolescents. The research undertaken for her MA reconnected her to her own adolescence, young motherhood and its influences. Becky is a fine artist, painting mostly in acrylic, gouache and ink block.

    Currently, I am primarily interested in exploring human/nature discourses through a narrative practice that engages with objects (natural and human-made), representation, and employing a range of processes and means of making.     I class myself as a plastic activist and promote the devastating effects plastic has on the environment through my work. I own a Zero-Waste shop called Buy the Kilo and promote these issues through exhibitions that I curate in our small Gallery Space. working with like minded Artists.

    Rowan is a textile artist based in West Yorkshire. She draws inspiration from folklore and the natural world to create embroidered pieces full of narrative and meaning. By meticulously hand stitching onto inherited and reclaimed fabrics, Rowan breathes new life and new stories into materials steeped in history and memory.

    I grew up in Zambia, studied Classics and Education at St. Mary’s University in London, and later graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with a B.A. Honours in Fine Art.     I’m a colour-blind artist/cartoonist fascinated by the overlooked moments of everyday life. The way people interact with their surroundings, both living and inanimate, in ways that are often unnoticed. My work explores the social, philosophical, and humorous aspects of these interactions, inviting viewers to pause and see the world through a fresh lens.

    I'm a 53 year old Artist from Yorkshire, i Love to paint what is in my head. I do occasionally like to paint a portrait, usually a personality from a band.     I am a painter and a printmaker based in North Yorkshire on the North York Moors. I produce large scale oil paintings and relief prints. I mainly work in etched Lino and carved woodblock.
