I illustrate psychological phenomena, theories and concept in light of the current social context and of our future. Her work is made in response to places and events she has experienced. Her ethos as a textile artist is to recycle, re-use and re-purpose existing resources meaning that her pieces are made entirely from found objects and fabrics.

    As a child I loved to draw and paint, and as an adult would loved to have had the time to follow it up. However, work and family kept me busy. When I retired I promised myself I would join an art class and take it seriously. Though I don't hold a degree, I am still being very well taught, by excellent professional teachers .,so you are never too old to learn about something you love doing.

    I am a graduate professional artist with BA Fine Art First Class Honours 2006. I'm inspired by the landscape and create work that abstracts what I see and experience. Often working en plein air I create dynamic & colourful compositions. I'm inspired by abstract expressionism with rapid expressive mark making & striking colours of Fauvism. I have a strong exhibition catalogue over 20 shows in 2025.
