    Joanne is a visual artist whose creative journey began in photography but flourished into painting. I was born in former Czecho-Slovakia and my present art practice is informed by my Slavic roots and folklore cultural heritage.     I’m Elizabeth Benson, a UK-based artist working between textile and sculpture. I explore how cloth, dye and fibre respond to contact, pressure and time, using natural dyes, tannins and iron to create layered works where colour and form emerge through interaction rather than control.

    I am a Welsh artist inspired by the beautiful and historic North Wales landscape; the mountains, the sea and the wildlife. I work mostly with acrylics or coloured pencils although I also work in watercolours, pencil, pen and chalk pastels. I paint and draw landscapes, moments and ideas that I think are beautiful.
