    I'm a Brighton based socially engaged artist addressing social and political issues. I explore the means by which simple artistic activities can be catalysts for progressive change. I involve members of the public in immersive projects, which examine the power of words to shape perception.

    I started working with black communities in the beginning because I felt that when members of the black community were engaged in my work, I could claim the title of visual artist. I see my work as an intervention into spaces of intergenerational wealth created by triangular trade. I also see the work as claiming and occupying space that is raced white for people of colour.

    I am a multi-media artist based in Yorkshire working in sculpture, performance, photography, video, printmaking and artist’s books. Much of my work is inspired by and takes place in, the landscape around me. Often I am the only audience for my on-site installations, works translated into artist’s books and digitally printed images, crossing the boundary between documentary and primary artwork.

    British Multimedia Artist, originally from Manchester now based in the North East. His art lives in several private collections across the world. In 2025, he won the Collectors' Art Prize - Legends of Our Time Award. In 2020, he won best in show for the International Art Folio 2020 Annual award. In 2019, he was shortlisted for the Refresh Art Prize 2019.

    I am a printmaker and artist and I work from my attic studio in West Yorkshire. My prints are influenced by my love of being immersed in nature and my belief that everyone has a right to be wrapped in the natural world. They are also influenced by my love of arts that explore folklores, especially those relating to the changing seasons.

    I work with site-responsive installation, photography and video using light, space and wind and am inspired by the ordinary, the everyday and the need to find meaning in our lives.     I live in the Bannau Brycheiniog, working as an artist, curator and tutor.     Joshua Obichere is a London-based artist whose practice explores colonial legacies, freedom, and self-ownership through sculpture, painting, installation, and performance. His work examines the Black male body and its histories, addressing objectification within queer spaces, and he is also one half of the artist duo JILO.
