    Recent graduate of a first class degree in BA (Hons) Fine Art at the Northern School of Art. I enjoy the process of investigating landscape via graphite, paint, photography and collage.     I have a BA (HONS) in Applied Arts and have run my creative business Rustydusty since 2008. I am predominately a textiler and work in various textile disciplines. I have come back to my line and watercolour art after recently being accepted in the Lanzarote Art Festival. The experience of going over to Lanzarote to deliver workshops inspired me to use colour and develop my line work.

    Eugene Power trained in fine art painting at Falmouth School of Art and University of East London and has worked as a lecturer in Adult and Further Education for over 25 years. His main practice is in painting, but he also works with photography, assemblage and collage.

    I am currently producing work that is a a combination of paintings and mixed media relief pieces that combine embroidery, paper clay, precious metal clay, paper, watercolour, ink and found objects. Each piece is accompanied with a poem about and as a response to the physical work. I also work as a development librarian.

    I am a painter who is interested in people, places, objects and groups in society. My role as a teacher informs my work and I often respond to my immediate environment. Painting offers a special opportunity to combine imagery, technique and art historical references to tell stories and suggest ideas. The act of looking, drawing and the physical mixing and application of colour are important to me.

    Currently, I am primarily interested in exploring human/nature discourses through a narrative practice that engages with objects (natural and human-made), representation, and employing a range of processes and means of making.     Joanne is a visual artist whose creative journey began in photography but flourished into painting. While formally trained in photography, she is a self-taught painter who embraces acrylics and mixed media to convey emotion through expressive and dynamic compositions.
