    East Yorkshire based visual communicator, and sculptor. My work focuses on colour, the natural world, and how plants connect with us. I work in whatever materials I can afford/acquire including digital drawing often incorporating handwritten lettering.     I completed a Graduate Diploma in Textile Design at Chelsea College of Arts, where I was awarded the William Callaway Scholarship, specialising in material-led processes and traditional weaving techniques. My work blends traditional Jamdani weaving with contemporary aesthetics, creating woven artworks that explore the entangled histories of a colonial past through material narratives.

    I am a photographer from a Fine Art background with a career spanning 4 decades producing work for Advertising Agencies and Designers. Throughout that time I have been fortunate enough to balance any commissioned work with my own personal practice, which ranges from Landscape and Industrial to Still life. I am now retired from the commercial arena and can now concentrate on my personal work.
