    I design and make mixed media jewellery from my workshop in Bingley, West Yorkshire. I work predominantly in silver but like to combine other, found materials to my work to add colour and interest. I sell my work online, at contemporary craft shows and through a number of galleries around the U.K.

    Embroiderer and wordsmith, Catherine Hill is a multi-award-winning contemporary textile artist based in the UK. Her artistic vision is drawn from her childhood memories growing up in the English county of Lancashire in the 1970’s.     Born in Liverpool, UK. Studied Fine Art in Liverpool and Coventry, and worked as a community artist. Returned to full-time education for MA at Winchester School of Art, and then awarded a bursary for a PhD at Nottingham Trent University. He has exhibited widely, and worked in various roles in museums and galleries, including Tate Liverpool. He currently lives and works in London and Taipei.
