    David Fox is a hand weaver and textile artist who explores materials and form with an interest in people, place or textile heritage. His studio is at Sunny Bank Mills in Farsley just outside of Leeds, and is also known as Fox on the Sley.

    My motivation often comes from the challenge of transforming and exploiting objects then trying to give them new uses. I enjoy keeping the original object recognisable so then it has a dual personality. Many of my projects and products have been interactive, in a residency last year I was able to create larger pieces using rope and objects that people could interactive and play with.

    I am a conceptual artist based in London. I moved to London from Ukraine in 2001 and have been a part of Studio Fridays until 2022. I am self taught and draw my inspiration from the connection between humans and nature, exploring transience, change, grief, loss and ageing. I am the Ambassador of Arts 4 Dementia & run community workshop for people with dementias.

    Keith, inspired by the Concorde era and a strong technical education, built a career in satellite navigation, leading engineering teams in industry. After transitioning to glass art, a stroke in 2019 reshaped his practice. Through resilience and rehabilitation, he returned with a renewed focus on material, balance, and creativity, now also sharing his knowledge through workshops and talks.

    My name is Vic Wright and l'm a sculptor based in the North West of England. My pieces are often the result of experimenting and manipulating core materials. Typically my work takes the form of unique casts. Using a base of fine casting cement different materials such as metal powders and pigments are added. When drying this results in different textures, colours and surfaces.

    I am a multidisciplinary artist working across sculpture, digital media, video and print. Her practice explores feminist themes, domestic labour and materiality. She reimagines household tools as metaphors for resilience and ritual.     I am interested in exploring photography as ‘Inframedium’, playing with the boundaries of the photographic object, its material ‘nature’ and the visual possibilities that exist within it. Stripping away the ‘Apparatus’ of the camera and thus stepping out of the arena of the technical image, I am exploring a different set of gestures with which to reveal the material’s phenomenological potential.

    Teresa is a British/Maltese mixed media abstract artist who after returning to art as a mature student, completed an MA in Art and Science at Central Saint Martins in 2020. Her practice is concerned with the formation and recollection of memory and she explores the nature of memory and its vulnerabilities in the context of personal histories, family, and relationships.
