    Sophie Hannah Walker is a mixed media contemporary artist who has been practicing and exhibiting for over 30 years. Currently her work is about 'The Art of Feeling Better' which is a combination of the therapeutic effects on the artist when creating work and making canvases designed to have a subliminal positive effect on the viewer. Sophie was shortlisted for the Royal Academy in 2019 .

    Anna is a visual artist, technician and facilitator from Tyne and Wear currently based in PINK, Stockport and FACT, Liverpool. Their practice and research examines themes of cyberfeminism, obsession and identity in a rapidly digitising world.     I design and make mixed media jewellery from my workshop in Bingley, West Yorkshire. I work predominantly in silver but like to combine other, found materials to my work to add colour and interest.     David Fox is a hand weaver and textile artist who explores materials and form with an interest in people, place or textile heritage. His studio is at Sunny Bank Mills in Farsley just outside of Leeds, and is also known as Fox on the Sley.

    Emma is an embroidery artist who works with recycled ,aluminium, drinks cans. Using ancient design techniques such as engraving and goldwork embroidery. After burnishing the inside of the can turns a golden colour which she sews onto. The contrast in materials is a focal point of her practice. She also woks on site specific settings and immersive projects.

    I’m a plein air painter based in London, my artistic practice is almost exclusively rooted in plein air (outdoor/from life) location based observational painting. I find that through painting outdoors the quality of light and feeling I get from the places I visit comes across in the sense of place in the paintings capturing a moment in time.

    Though rooted in printmaking, my MA in Fine Art (UAL) encouraged me to expand my practice to include installation and assemblage. I use a range of media including traditional (e.g. print, ceramics) and newer technologies (e.g. laser cut) which I combine to stretch possibilities. My work reflects the range of human experience, with dementia and the working poor among my subjects.

    I am a freelance photographer with a wide range of photographic interests, so I don't specialise in any particular genre. I do, however, love to create images that offer an unusual perspective on the every-day, which enables me to embrace macro photography, as well as documentary and street photography.

    I am by definition an abstract artist who mainly specialises in painting. I use acrylic paint and mixed media to create my artworks, typically on large abandoned photographs, paper or canvas. The general theme behind my work is rooted in environmental issues and explores the contrasts between a natural existence and a synthetic environment that many of us find ourselves living in.
