    A relative newcomer to the world of art. Winner of the King Lear Prize for Art (Beginners) 2023. Working mostly in acrylics and also pet pencil drawings. I have an eclectic range of paintings from pop art to seascapes, landscapes, cloud studies to flowers. Currently experimenting with pallet knife painting and achieving some interesting results.

    I am about to be a third year Fine Art Painting and Drawing student at Northampton University. I revel in exploring, unpicking, and going on a journey to see where the art takes me. When I paint and draw, I really do feel the work emanates from within and emerges, bursting forth. I embrace my gestural approach, and investigate large scale using oil, oil sticks, and water soluble crayons.

    I am an abstract artist currently based in Bradford on Avon, Wiltshire. I work with acrylic based mediums and large canvases to create bold paintings probing the human condition. I did a BA in Art and Visual Culture at UWE in Bristol and worked as a music photographer in London; my move to painting was a vital transition that has become my obsession and greatest commitment.

    I am a photographer and a qualified teacher. I tutor workshops in basic digital photography and cyanotype printing. My main practice is in documentary photography. I also have a passion for Camera Obscura and have designed and built my own portable CO. Inspired by largescale artworks I also have a passion for light paintings and abstractions made at night.
