    Anna is a Ukrainian artist-researcher based in the UK and working in the style of metamodernism. She was born in 1991. Having been first educated as an academic artist she has the daring and skill to experiment with traditional and contemporary approaches to representation.     Ross’ practice is centred around nature in an urban environment, a sense of place, utilising and repurposing found and recycled materials are key to both sustainability & minimising my artistic footprint.     I am a full time artist mainly working in textiles. I have a degree in Fashion & Textiles from Leicester Polytechnic, but have been working in 'creative textiles' for over 15 years. I have experience of working in the community and in schools, creating large textile installations. I also exhibit my work in various exhibitions and Open Studios. I sell my smaller works at fairs and in galleries.

    A recent MA Graduate interested in colour and the way light, movement and scale change perception of colour. Inspired by the principles of Reuse/Recycle, Permaculture Gardening, I'm a 'magpie', exploring 'something from nothing', time passing during a process. Each body of work I produce is varied but I'm looking at the same factors; how colour and light affects (inside/outside) materials.

    My art is a way for me to understand life. It's my form of graphic research. I take complicated stories and events and break them down into simple details. This makes it easier for me to understand new places or experiences by drawing them and observing their unique features, patterns, and details.
