    The first time I touched clay, it was a peaceful and comforting experience. There is nothing more grounding than working by hand with raw materials and watching as it slowly transforms into a piece of work. This started by accident. As someone who has ADHD, it’s incredibly difficult to be still, and I feel the need to constantly be doing something with my hands.

    I am a glass and mixed media artist based in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire. My work draws inspiration from individual and collective stories and memories. I believe that art has the power to transcend boundaries, to evoke emotions, and to ignite conversations. Alongside my own practice I run arts for wellbeing workshops in the community.

    Currently, I am primarily interested in exploring human/nature discourses through a narrative practice that engages with objects (natural and human-made), representation, and employing a range of processes and means of making.     Recent graduate of a first class degree in BA (Hons) Fine Art at the Northern School of Art. I enjoy the process of investigating landscape via graphite, paint, photography and collage.
