In 2025, he won the Collectors' Art Prize - Legends of Our Time Award. In 2020, he won best in show for the International Art Folio 2020 Annual award.     I am a multimedia artist, interested in the magic powers that inanimate objects can achieve through our spells. Teddy bears are my queer talismans. My film practice begins with a desire to heal feelings of loss, solitude and alienation, by exploring symbioses between beings. Working with the practical immediacy of the iPhone, I use presence, stillness and methods of meditative contemplation.

    Sophia Rosenthal was shortlisted for the Contemporary British Painting Prize 2024, and won The Judith Tucker Memorial Prize selected by Lubaina Himid, Griselda Pollock and Harriet Tarlo. Graduating with a Distinction in MA Fine Art at City & Guilds of London Art School, Sophia subsequently won the Standpoint Artist Residency Prize 2024 which culminated in a solo show, 'Golden Hour' 2025.
