Currently studying a BA (Hons) in Textiles Practice at Bradford School of Art, I am a multidisciplinary artist and see the world around me as a series of patterns. I trained and worked as a primary teacher early on in my career, before motherhood took over and I took time to raise my family. I returned to work as a teaching assistant and supply teacher part time, before I took the plunge and embarked on an access course in art and design. I haven't looked back since, gaining a BA, followed by an MA in Fine Art, and I am at present continuing my research.

My ceramic practice explores the poetics of stillness at the threshold between vessel and sculpture. I use local stoneware, contrasting structural precision with unique matte glazes that highlight the clay's raw character. My work emphasizes the physical history of its creation. Stocked at Kettle's Yard museum shop and other galleries, I have also held a solo exhibition at Churchill College.
