    Having been an artist since I was little, I practised properly as a professional artist since 2020. I studied at Dumfries and Galloway college doing Art and Design at HND level I went on to study at home on self portraits, I practise daily my technique and my love for the female form. I was a model between 16-25 years old, and have the same outlook that the female body is beautiful.

    I have a passion for watercolour, pastel of wildlife botanical animal and more recently jewellery making . Over 10 years ago I was medically retired from the NHS with a Neurological condition so I picked up a pencil and started from there and have never stopped. I have done a few craft fairs in North Yorkshire where I'm from . I have now moved to Surrey are and I want to continue here with fairs.

    I am a sculptor and printmaker based in Rossendale, Lancashire, UK, and exhibit my work nationally and internationally. I am a Member of The Royal Society of Sculptors and the European Sculpture Network. I recently exhibited work in the Venice Biennale (2019) in the PAPER Pavilion, Palazzo Mora, and the sculpture survey show ‘No Particular Place to Go’, Castlefield Gallery, Manchester.

    I'm a new graduate of Fine Art working in pen and ink and I love to capture the little details of the world around me in Yorkshire. I've come to art after a career in archaeology, where observing and drawing the small details was an essential part of my role.     With an eye for intricate detail and curiosity for pre-owned items, my work focuses on how an object evokes personal comfort through recognition and familiarity. Inspired by everyday objects that often go unnoticed, from matchsticks to hook-and eye fastenings, I create handcrafted jewellery and personal possessions, some of which are wearable and others merely companions to our everyday lives.
