    Originally from Moldova (formerly part of the USSR), I have called Harrogate home for the past 28 years. Since 1995, I've resided in the UK. Currently, I share my passion for art and photography as an educator at Harrogate Grammar School while continuing to refine my skills as a painter.     As mixed media artist, I have worked as a textile artist since I took early retirement 14 years ago. Recently, I have also restarted water colour painting and my work now includes a mixture of paint, fabrics, stitch, hand weaving and embellishments. I have taken many courses on textile art techniques, printing, eco dyeing, paper making. etc.

    Cat is a visual artist based in Mid-Wales, UK. Cat won joint-third prize in the Gwenllian Ashley Art Prize 2024 with her artwork ‘Evolution Revolution’. She was awarded Student of the Year, and gained a distinction in the Foundation Diploma in Art & Design at Coleg Ceredigion in 2024. Cat went on to study classical oil painting under acclaimed artist Louis Smith.
