    I am a contemporary Textile Artist and Feltmaker living and working from my home studio in the Peak District. I take inspiration from forms and textures in the natural world in particular pebbles and found objects gathered on coastal walks and the hills, edges, weather and changing light and colours of the Peak District.

    I come from a family of painters and studied Fine Art at 'A' Level. I have been painting landscapes regularly since 2013 and, having retired from a career in nursing in 2015, am now a full time artist, painting and drawing and have studied portraiture under Andres Jaroslavsky and Luke Thompson. I also hold classes in portraiture (both drawing and painting) and landscape painting around Leeds.

    I am a fine artist focussing on painting drawing and printing, with a particular enduring interest and fascination in colour. I find the Yorkshire Dales a particular inspiration. My main subjects are colourfield, landscape, still life and figurative.

    I am an award winning cross-media artist and filmmaker, having exhibited internationally and worked collaboratively to deliver works that interrogate the role and impact of digital media practice. I have over 20yrs experience of devising and delivering participatory projects.     British Multimedia Artist, originally from Manchester now based in the North East. His art lives in several private collections across the world. In 2025, he won the Collectors' Art Prize - Legends of Our Time Award. In 2020, he won best in show for the International Art Folio 2020 Annual award. In 2019, he was shortlisted for the Refresh Art Prize 2019.

    Born in Nottinghamshire, Stuart Reid completed a Foundation course in Art and Design at Grimsby School of Art.
