    I’m a local artist working from my studio at Art Space Portsmouth, Hampshire in the U.K. I graduated from The University of Chichester with a B.A. and an M.A. in Fine Art. My practice usually involves painting, drawing and photography. I was artist in residence at Portsmouth cathedral and have exhibited throughout the region.

    Katherine James is a Leeds based contemporary artist and jewellery maker. She is best known for her unique re-imaginings of armour, made by crafting chainmail into many different forms and materials to alter its symbolic values. Her chainmail works have varied from lace patterns to semi-melted to chaotic disorder. Lately her practice has explored the relationship between charcoal and silver.

    Sarah McAlister graduated with MA Textiles from The University for the Creative Arts in 2024 and focuses her practice on re-using found materials. Her work is made in response to places and events she has experienced. Her ethos as a textile artist is to recycle, re-use and re-purpose existing resources meaning that her pieces are made entirely from found objects and fabrics.

    I am a neurobiologist by day and artist by night. I explore various topics directly impacting me like the emotional impact of chronic pain, the nature, and the science around me.     I'm a 53 year old Artist from Yorkshire, i Love to paint what is in my head. I do occasionally like to paint a portrait, usually a personality from a band.     Every artwork is an invitation to pause. I don’t create paintings simply to be looked at. I create spaces to be entered. Mixed media, conceptual artist exploring emotional memory through textured abstraction, found objects and sculptural surfaces.     Ross’ practice is centred around nature in an urban environment, a sense of place, utilising and repurposing found and recycled materials are key to both sustainability & minimising my artistic footprint.
