    I am a sculptor whose work investigates identity and the way we portray this in the world through the forms of our clothing and our architecture. Both are seen as metaphors for the body and for human experience. I have been investigating this relationship for 20 years.     I make plein air drawings to enquire, to discover and to become involved with the landscape. Using mixed media gives me a vocabulary to describe my discoveries. So, it makes sense that I would naturally turn to wildlife art. My style is hyper-realistic with an attention to detail.     I am an artist working in Sheffield painting and sculpting alongside welding, making and restoring to make money. I went to art college in tI mid 80's for an art foundation course and failed it so not really trained but not fully an Outsider.
