    Connor McIntyre (b. Liverpool, 1960) Connor studied Fine Art at the University of Plymouth, gaining a First Class BA (Hons) in 2012, followed by an MA in Contemporary Art Practice (Painting) in 2015. Recent selections including the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2025, Jackson’s Art Prize / Painting Prize (shortlisted, (2023 & 2025) Winner : Irving Open (2026)

    Demi is a northern British contemporary abstract artist, who has lived across industrial towns and northern countryside. Demi's artwork is fuelled by these contrasting environments, her work is primarily climate focused, forming both abstract landscape and animal paintings using mixed media. As Demi is an experimental artist, you will find multiple uses of media and techniques within her work.

    Recent graduate of a first class degree in BA (Hons) Fine Art at the Northern School of Art. I enjoy the process of investigating landscape via graphite, paint, photography and collage.     I am a printmaker exploring our relationship with landscape and the ways we form emotional attachments to place. I work across multiple printmaking techniques, allowing processes to inform and expand one another, generating a diverse visual language. Alongside editioned prints, I create large-scale, site-responsive collaged 2D and 3D works that incorporate stitch as well as print.

    Working with clay has always been my passion and escape. I graduated with a BEd Hons majoring in art and ceramics and taught for many years. Following early retirement I work in my studio in Hexham, Northumberland where I make small scale ceramic sculpture based on my immediate environment and on my relationships with landscape and within family.

    Believe it or not I first used drawings to impress my father so from childhood it has been my go to place when depressed and also done out of joy being a disabled artist I like to use my talent to express feelings and emotions situations in life
