    Rachel was born in Southampton and is a sculptural ceramic artist living in South Wales where she has her own small studio. After spending many years in general medical practice as well as in the legal world, she decided to follow a lifelong ambition to practise art. She obtained a first class honours degree in Fine Art in 2020.

    Rae Melody, born in 1972 in Dewsbury, UK, and currently based in Chippenham, is a contemporary abstract painter. Her work involves the exploration of the past, present, and future. Melody’s portfolio includes abstract, weathered paintings and vibrant typography with geometrically entwined shapes. She combines acrylic, collage and spray paint to create depth and texture.

    Layla Jabbari is a Hull-based illustrator working in print and mixed media, including animation and sculpture. Layla's work was shortlisted for the Flourish Awards for excellence in Printmaking and selected for Ones to Watch, Yorkshire 2024. Layla was longlisted for World Illustration Awards 2023 and is on the Artist Inter_change program at Humber Street Gallery Hull.

    I am a ceramic artist who currently lives and works in Amsterdam. My artworks feature distinctive organic forms with contrasting textures and colours of nature.     I love experimenting with light sensitive materials and various chemistry to push boundaries of what analogue photography can do to feed my creative side. I find joy in trying out new things in the darkroom and jumping from one photographic process into another; Lith, Mordançage, Pinhole Camera, Cyanotype, Wet Plate Collodion, Tintype - you name it, I'll do it :D

    I have loved and done photography since I was about sixteen years old. I begun to take it seriously when I was seventeen years old and did A-Level Photography, which lead me into Photography in the Arts degree. I graduated in 2020 with a second class honours. A few years later, I am now doing film photography and trying to evoke emotion and nostalgia through my practice.

    Before re-emerging as a photography artist my background was in furniture painting, fashion, and family shoots. I am self taught and have no formal education in art. I am inspired by the beautiful West Sussex countryside where I live, and my fascination for trees and architecture. I am a mother to two teenagers, living a quiet life with my rescue lurcher and a dark sense of humour!
