    I am an author I studied for an MA in art and a BA graduated in both, and then went on to study psychology. I have done various psychotherapy courses and classes. I am now more into doing the thing I love most painting. I am from Cyprus my family were refugees in Cyprus. I have lived in England for over sixty years. I did a lot of work in catering.

    I grew up in Zambia, studied Classics and Education at St. Mary’s University in London, and later graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with a B.A. Honours in Fine Art.     I’m Elizabeth Benson, a UK-based artist working between textile and sculpture. I explore how cloth, dye and fibre respond to contact, pressure and time, using natural dyes, tannins and iron to create layered works where colour and form emerge through interaction rather than control.

    I am a freelance photographer with a wide range of photographic interests, so I don't specialise in any particular genre. I do, however, love to create images that offer an unusual perspective on the every-day, which enables me to embrace macro photography, as well as documentary and street photography.
