    I am a colourist painter, working from my garden studio in Somerset. My work is about landscape including trees, castle ruins, reflections, and seascapes. The emphasis is on colour, light and composition using layers of paint, resulting in a rich tapestry of hue and texture.

    I have been working as a sculptor and upcycle artist for nearly a decade, turning discarded plastic and found materials into meaningful sculptures that carry my personal reflection. My work is inspired by a deep love for humanity and the sacredness of nature.     I am a Redcar raised photographer who seeks meaning in the mundane. I prefer black and white photography , but not exclusively. I use any camera I have to hand working with Fuji X-H1, Pro 1, X-E1, Canon 200D, 5D mkiii, and film photography using the Canon AE-1, Prakitka and the medium format plastic fantastic Holga 120N.
