    My work follows two parallel yet colliding lines, shaping and complementing each other. I compose space, and space shapes me. The serenity of one form mirrors the Dionysian force of another. I work with ordinary materials, embedding them in familiar structures that fade when left untouched. Beyond the rational and the known, does a pure, simple order exist, hidden behind the everyday haze?

Demi's artwork is fuelled by these contrasting environments, her work is primarily climate focused, forming both abstract landscape and animal paintings using mixed media. It centers on the material aspects of dynamic forces, such as gravity, wind, and erosion.     Poppy Whatmore is a visual artist based in London. She studied an MA Fine Art at Slade School of Fine Art with an Arts Council Award. She was nominated for the Adrian Carruthers Studio Award and won the Aesthetica Art Prize in 2013 . Selected group shows include, 'A Body A Part', APT gallery, artist and curator; 'Warped Domesticity'. She was selected for Hogchester Arts in 2023.
