    Ross’ practice is centred around nature in an urban environment, a sense of place, utilising and repurposing found and recycled materials are key to both sustainability & minimising my artistic footprint. Examining the relationship with nature that surrounds us; time, identity, consumption and history informs these concerns, inviting us to view things in a different way.

    Based in Sheffield, England I have been a professional artist since graduating in Fine Art (painting and printmaking) in 1998. I have worked in various artist studios around Yorkshire and worked on a diverse range of projects from commissions to specialist art workshops.     I am primarily a Landscape Artist but, also create still life and narrative paintings. These are mostly in oil paint. I work out of a studio in Wood Green, part of The Cumberland Road Collective, a group of some 40 Artists and growing. My work has been selected for The Discerning Eye, Exhibition, 2024 and is held in Singapore, France and the UK.

    I am a deaf artist, based on the Welsh /Shropshire Boarder. I have a studio at a disused coal mine in Bershram Wrexham. I have also studied art at Wrexham University. My work has been exhibited through out North Wales and Shropshire. As a person who grew up with with very little hearing, I turned to painting and drawing at an early age.
