About me I am a Glasgow based artist working in a range of paint based mediums. My work is a representation of my interactions with, and reflections on, my immediate environment. Through my work I explore and share my reactions to the boundaries between the natural environment and human imposed structures. I work in mixed media creating collages created from the bi-products of everyday life.

I have lived and walked in both urban & natural environments from London to Staffordshire and currently near Nottingham. In 2015 I completed an MA in Fine Art, through using my culture of walking, and I’m inspired by ‘edgeland’ landscapes. Drawing on the materiality of landscape, and with techniques such as frottage I consider notions around ‘mapping’ and the ‘reality’ of what we see

I am a multi-disciplinary artist. Within my work I am interested exploring the possibilities of the transformation of the everyday.  I work on commissioned pieces with performers and also collaborate with friends and family who appear as subjects within my photographic work. I would describe my style as darkly enchanting and familiar yet uncomfortably strange.

An experimental printmaker using etching and other print making techniques. The work is concerned with the temporal transformation of discarded and forgotten objects into new printed images which emulate the landscape, becoming imaginary map like places. A new 2 or 3 dimensional narrative emerges as they form their new printed landscape

I specialised in ceramics and through further study became involved in working with other materials. I make works that have often involved drawing , clay, video, photography, recordings, journals, objects made and found . My practice reflects aspects of human relationships with nature and the land. Projects do involve other people and can be a performance, journey or event.

Born and raised in Bavaria, I previously studied and taught languages before focussing on art. Maintaining a particular interest in language, its semantics and social contexts I recently completed my MA in Fine Art. My practice incorporates sculpture, collage, painting, installation art, animation and photography.
