    Creative expression has always been intrinsic to my life having worked with pencil, pen and ink, lino cut, oil pastel,watercolour and acrylics. After retiring in 2017 I followed my passion for mid century design restoring and selling sewing boxes internationally.I then returned to mixed media work in 2021 focusing on alcohol inks on birch ply to enhance the beauty of the wood grain.

    I'm a fine artist and illustrator. I have taken part in events and exhibitions, I have taught at various times over the years. As well as selling my cards and prints through my business lalabuds: I am now developing my painting and art practice as Rebecca Carr Artist, I explore the relationship between indoor still life, outdoor landscape and the link between.

    Katy works with Merino wool, using felting and embroidery to create landscape stories. Changing skies, seasons and rural scenes inspire her beautiful pictures. She is currently making wearable accessories and clothing using the same techniques. Katy has exhibited her work for some years and can be found at local artisan fairs and shops.     Nick Malone crosses art forms to create mysteries and stories through paintings, drawings, artist’s books and podcasts. Initially a writer, he abandoned his former life to become a full-time artist. His work has been exhibited across the world, from Tokyo to the United States, including at the Royal Academy and the Carrousel du Louvre. He has won various national awards.
