    I am a London based artist who uses photography, digital manipulation, and sound to create images, video, and installations. Searching beneath the surface by unpacking the layers that we keep secure is a fundamental aspect of my work. Often nostalgic, sometimes beautifully melancholic, I make tender unsettling images drawn from my reflections of human behaviour.

    I am an artist based in West Yorkshire and Iam an emerging artist. I have always had a passion for wildlife and wildlife conservation.     I'm a 53 year old Artist from Yorkshire, i Love to paint what is in my head. I do occasionally like to paint a portrait, usually a personality from a band.     I am a neurodivergent artist making art about living with neurodiversity through ceramics, drawing, painting, printmaking, installation and sculpting. I was born with autism, am dyslexic, have a high IQ, went through an event aged 17 and then another linked event aged 18 that left me with PTSD and that caused developmental issues in my brain leading to the symptoms of ADHD now being prevalent.

    I’m a Chesterfield-born painter and Sheffield Hallam Fine Art graduate (2018). Formerly based at S1 Artspace (2019–24), I now work from Yorkshire Artspace’s Exchange Place. My work has included a collaboration with Mercedes-Benz Sheffield (JCT600), and I was nominated for the 2019 Keith Hayman Public Art Award for my mural 'Sheffield, the city as an egg'.

    Sadly, my real name isn't Using Glue, that's a trade name sort of thing to reflect the fact that I use a lot of glue in my work. My real name is Shane O'Leary. In previous incarnations I have dug ditches, marketed pornography and written increasingly deranged reviews of increasingly bland records before finally growing up and becoming an artist.
