    I am Olamide Adesola aka Ayo'lamide. I have a masters degree in Fine Art from Teesside University and a BSc degree in Fine Arts from Obafemi Awolowo, Nigeria. I started art as a young girl. I have participated in exhibitions, home & abroad. This was done so as to solidify my intention of achieving an uninterrupted creative/professional practice as a professional artist.     I am an artist currently exploring print making, mainly relief printing with linoleum. The dining room in my little Lincolnshire cottage doubles as my studio. I have always been interested in the medium but had only dabbled in it in the past. However, in 2020 I had the opportunity to explore and experiment uninterrupted. My printmaking practice has now extended to other forms of printmaking.

    I have always loved liminal moments and have spent a lot of my art career trying to grasp, express, explore it and what I understand that to mean. It surfaces in landscape, moments of beauty; melancholy perhaps and in the figure as moments of being slightly removed, distant, ambiguous. Consequently I don't feel constrained to a particular medium and am happy with paint, photography print and clay
