I am a wood carver & artificer. I specialise in contemporary life like sculpture for private gardens to Public spaces, reflecting today's values and society. I'm also known for my climate change, plastic litter and conservation art. My work is aimed to induce natural human responses and interactions and I hope to make everything relevant and reflective of what's happening around us.

I am a magnanimous despot, a magpie, a collector of images, talk too much, questionable sanity, semi-retired educator and an artist. I never fitted into any sort of academic box and if you saw me in the street, I'm not sure you would recognise any of the above. My current images are all related to everyday themes - family, shopping, walking in the High Peak, and poking fun with a dark twist.

Lisa uses ancient methods of making and drawing combined with new technology to capture sound as movement, movement as pattern and pattern as form. Using nature, songs and poems as data she creates analogue generative artwork and solid forms. Her work is generally small enough to be held in the hand to give a different experience and perspective of the original sensory source.

Working across oils, water-based and mixed-media my work fluctuates between pure abstraction and a subtle refence to place or object. Paintings begin with intuitive marks and colour, and are developed over several months, if not years, with several paintings being worked on at a time. The final composition only comes to realisation in the later stages of the process.

I’m a blind artist, losing my sight over the past 35 years; This privileged view of going from quite good sight to nothing has given me the most astounding vision. Inclusion, accessibility and the Situationist explorations of Play and/or Psychogeography are integral to my work as an artist, coach and trainer. Collaged soundscapes, tactile sculptures and 3D drawings are always prominent.

I am a graphic designer and a visual artist. I work mostly in oil on canvas but work sometimes with acrylic and water colour. Most of my recent paintings were influenced political and social upheaval of our world today and the works of the Renaissance artists. I do not like artworks to be just for decoration but to evoke feelings.
