My practice confronts the increasingly unstable device of the image and its impact on delivering a coherent understanding of our global condition. My work takes the form of a video installation to address the physical and virtual position that the image ambiguously navigates. Alongside my practice, I am also part of Dank Collective- a collective exploring performance, video, and online platforms.

Hello! I'm a queer, neurodivergent and emotionally driven illustrator with a personal awareness of the social impacts of disability and mental illness. I try to address discrimination, stigmatisation and ignorance in my work, in a way that is tolerable. I've personally suffered from a lifetime of mental illness and ADHD, which is translated directly into my art.

As a sculptor/installation artist, I weld, weave, wrap or ravel steel wire into most of my work. Routes, boundaries and voids created help me understand connections and liminality. The wire is manipulated into weightless ethereal structures, barely visible yet imposing. With the involvement of my body and the inclusion of light, space, movement and sound, uncanny immersive environments emerge.

I am a London based artist who uses photography, digital manipulation, and sound to create images, video, and installations. Searching beneath the surface by unpacking the layers that we keep secure is a fundamental aspect of my work. Often nostalgic, sometimes beautifully melancholic, I make tender unsettling images drawn from my reflections of human behaviour.

Kate Rossini’s work is about exploring aspects of her own identity using surrealist techniques to access the subconscious mind - looking inwards to mine what is hidden - exploring the juxtaposition between methodologies that impose rules & elements of chance in creating work and those freed from rational control.
