Report this?I am a figurative sculptor working in the UK with gallery representation but now branching out into collaborative and site specific work. I use life casting to play along the spectrum of abstraction and figuration, often working in plaster and seeking ways of representing the human form that find beauty in the unusual or rarely appreciated. I also work in bronze both on a large and small scale.

Report this?I trained and worked as a primary teacher early on in my career, before motherhood took over and I took time to raise my family. I returned to work as a teaching assistant and supply teacher part time, before I took the plunge and embarked on an access course in art and design. I haven't looked back since, gaining a BA, followed by an MA in Fine Art, and I am at present continuing my research.

Report this?I am an artist currently exploring print making, mainly relief printing with linoleum. The dining room in my little Lincolnshire cottage doubles as my studio. I have always been interested in the medium but had only dabbled in it in the past. However, in 2020 I had the opportunity to explore and experiment uninterrupted. My printmaking practice has now extended to other forms of printmaking.

Report this?My ceramic practice explores the poetics of stillness at the threshold between vessel and sculpture. I use local stoneware, contrasting structural precision with unique matte glazes that highlight the clay's raw character. My work emphasizes the physical history of its creation. Stocked at Kettle's Yard museum shop and other galleries, I have also held a solo exhibition at Churchill College.

Report this?I am a full time artist mainly working in textiles. I have a degree in Fashion & Textiles from Leicester Polytechnic, but have been working in 'creative textiles' for over 15 years. I have experience of working in the community and in schools, creating large textile installations. I also exhibit my work in various exhibitions and Open Studios. I sell my smaller works at fairs and in galleries.

My work is designed to appeal to those who enjoy the beauty of a quiet moment. I use my work to slow down time, taking a closer look at the familiar buildings we pass idly on the way to work, or relaxing in the memory of a cleansing bath.
