    I am a graduate professional artist with BA Fine Art First Class Honours 2006. I'm inspired by the landscape and create work that abstracts what I see and experience. Often working en plein air I create dynamic & colourful compositions. I'm inspired by abstract expressionism with rapid expressive mark making & striking colours of Fauvism.     I live in the Bannau Brycheiniog, working as an artist, curator and tutor. My family has a log history in artistic and healing practices, and I am very happy to be ableto continue these traditions as an artist and facilitator.     My art is about bringing imagination to life through abstract and semi-abstract pieces. I work mainly with mixed media, using acrylic paint and inks, building up layers of paint, texture, and intuitive markings. I love experimenting with marks and I enjoy creating small details within large paintings. Nature is my greatest inspiration.
