    I work with conceptual art that incorporates natural processes: rain and the drying of simulated puddles on canvas, interactions between artefacts and honeybees, action painting with biochar in ritual performances, as well as traditional painting. My aim is to express the experience of unity between mind, body, nature, creation, and everyday life.

    I started out in art creating pencil pet portraits for friends and family. When these proved popular, I branched out and began experimenting with a variety of media, and a variety of subjects. I am always learning, and thoroughly enjoying the process. I decided to take the plunge and set up a website for my art earlier in 2025.

    Based in the UK East Midlands, I became a full time artist in 2019. Semi abstract in nature, my work combines a fine art background and a long held fascination with wood in all forms. Sustainability underpins my practice; resource management and contributing to art communities is very important to me.
