    I live in Knaresborough where I have a home studio. I graduated in Fine Art Painting at Wimbledon School of Art with a postgraduate at Goldsmiths University, London. I also studied printmaking at the Curwen Print Study Centre receiving my diploma from Sir Stanley Jones. I have exhibited at The Royal Academy of Art, The Society of Women Artists, and The Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour.

    I resumed making sculpture in 2014 and have since shown sculpture, audio visual pieces and drawing. I am interested in the experiences of new, older artists returning or starting to make art that takes into account contemporary practices. I make constructions that are material and tangible and whose component forms often have a direct relation to the features of the gallery or site.

    I am a multi-media artist based in Yorkshire working in sculpture, performance, photography, video, printmaking and artist’s books. Much of my work is inspired by and takes place in, the landscape around me. Often I am the only audience for my on-site installations, works translated into artist’s books and digitally printed images, crossing the boundary between documentary and primary artwork.

    Sal is known for her expressive portraits that capture fleeting emotions rather than fixed likenesses. Working in rich layers of oil paint, she draws on film, media, and her own imagery to create characters who feel both familiar and mysterious. With titles often borrowed from dialogue, her paintings hint at stories without telling them outright, leaving space for the viewer to step in.

    Based in West Wales, I am a bilingual artist who has earned a successful living over the past twenty years within the creative arts by competing for both public sited artwork commissions and artist-in-residencies throughout Wales and England.     My practice specialises in printedTextiles weave and mixed media art. I currently work as a SEN TA, this is a challenging and rewarding role. I had created fun workshops for the children to participate and learn. Geliplate, weaving printing. I collect items that would normally end up in landfill, ready to experiment and explore new possibilities.

    Jenny Beard (b. 1994) is a Leeds-based artist from Barnsley whose abstract, textural paintings explore digital aesthetics, dissociation, and working-class identity. Influenced by Action painting, Meta-painting and Postdigital art, she works mainly with oil, acrylic, and mixed media on canvas.
