    My name is Harriet Pybus and iv recently spent a lot of time reflecting back on photographs that I have taken over the years. My photographs provide sanctuary from the turmoil of the modern world. Feelings of tranquillity, peace & almost romantic emotions frozen in time, giving an opportunity to stop, breathe and appreciate the world in which we live.

    Believe it or not I first used drawings to impress my father so from childhood it has been my go to place when depressed and also done out of joy being a disabled artist I like to use my talent to express feelings and emotions situations in life

    Layla Jabbari is a Hull-based illustrator working in print and mixed media, including animation and sculpture. Layla's work was shortlisted for the Flourish Awards for excellence in Printmaking and selected for Ones to Watch, Yorkshire 2024. Layla was longlisted for World Illustration Awards 2023 and is on the Artist Inter_change program at Humber Street Gallery Hull.

    Ali Pickard The Yaffingale is interested in history and modernity, which stories get to be told, and who is telling the tale, both within fiction and society.     Caroline creates bold, contemporary jewellery using Surfite, a by-product of surfboard manufacturing, and recycled precious metals. The Surfite is all sourced from British board shapers and purchased as part of a circular economy. Her work is inspired by her coastal life, aiming to evoke the wearers memories of days by the sea while promoting sustainability.

    Hi I’m a self employed artist/illustrator and art teacher. I run art workshops, create wall and window murals for businesses and educational settings and I create original art /illustration prints which I stock in my online shop and sell at art markets and exhibitions. I illustrate empowered perfectly imperfect women, and I also draw figures exploring the great outdoors. I use inks and collage.
