    I am a painter who is interested in people, places, objects and groups in society. My role as a teacher informs my work and I often respond to my immediate environment. Painting offers a special opportunity to combine imagery, technique and art historical references to tell stories and suggest ideas. The act of looking, drawing and the physical mixing and application of colour are important to me.

    I am a Devon based mixed media artist who trained at a London art school in 1992. Working intuitively across painting and mixed media, I create expressive figurative works that explore identity, memory and the things that are often left unspoken.

    Joanne is a visual artist whose creative journey began in photography but flourished into painting.     I’m Elizabeth Benson, a UK-based artist working between textile and sculpture. I explore how cloth, dye and fibre respond to contact, pressure and time, using natural dyes, tannins and iron to create layered works where colour and form emerge through interaction rather than control.

    I am a Welsh artist inspired by the beautiful and historic North Wales landscape; the mountains, the sea and the wildlife. I work mostly with acrylics or coloured pencils although I also work in watercolours, pencil, pen and chalk pastels. I paint and draw landscapes, moments and ideas that I think are beautiful.
