    I am a UK-based sculptor exploring transformation, identity, and social narratives through form and material.     After studying Textile Design at University Deborah became a secondary school Art teacher for nearly ten years. However these days she enjoys working from home on her paintings and models along with running workshops in the local area. Currently Deborah’s Art takes the form of creating miniature buildings which are then hand painted to bring them to life.

    Currently my practice is built around transition, on curiosity and discovery, I have no fixed media on how to create works with depth, texture, and atmosphere, but it happens. I layer can colour, gesture, and even fragments of text to form pieces that feel alive with energy and meaning, inviting viewers to pause and connect.

    I am a figurative sculptor working in the UK with gallery representation but now branching out into collaborative and site specific work. I use life casting to play along the spectrum of abstraction and figuration, often working in plaster and seeking ways of representing the human form that find beauty in the unusual or rarely appreciated. I also work in bronze both on a large and small scale.
